pictures on the internet don’t prepare you for how large these tires really are. They’re gigantic. Especially coming from 30.5” tall tires on an sr5

Looking to do the same setup with mine. Did you have to do any trimming to make the tires fit?

They do rub in reverse and full lock. I haven’t had it off-road yet to see if they really rub. I did remove the factory mud guards and crash brackets in the front

Readylift level has it just about flat. No rubbing whatsoever at this point, have not been offroad though. +25 offset Fifteen52 Analog HD Wheels w/ 285/70/17 tires seems to be a smidge past fenders anywhere but straight above.

Have not been impressed w/ ride quality thus far, but don't think it got worse from stock with these changes. Gas definitely did, maybe 20 on the highway not using cruise control. Do love the look though lol, very fortunate to have started this with low expectations as far as mpg.

Thinking ASFIR skid next as they seem to be one of the only brands bridging the space to the bumper, hope to be done then.

Method Wheels LUG KIT EXTENDED THREAD SPLINE M14X1.5 6 LUG KIT BLACK 24 PCS LK-S1415ET-40-24B. TPMS Added. Fits well on Stock 2025 4Runner Platinum (Black) with very slight modification to front wheel wells (trimming of plastic on mud flap, slight relocation of fastener for front fabric)

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my truck! Upgraded to Bilstein 5100 front and rear shocks, and I’m really happy with the height and the ride.

2.2 inch front and 0.8 rear lift. Sweet spot considering my tire size (275/70/17) and overall level stance!

Part numbers:
Front: 24-347464
Rear: 24-347433

Feel free to chime in on the alignment numbers if you know your stuff.

Well, they say you need to dance with who bring you. The Trailhunter is back on Toyo rubber after going through BFG KO3 and Falken Wildpeak AT4W. Spent 6 trips at different Discount Tires, replaced a bad KO3 and AT4W, still wouldn't road force and not have some vibration. 35+ on more than 1 tire. The highest here was 22 and 3 ounces of weight. So far they seem much better.

Swapped in 275/70/18 Open Country AT3s, E load at 50 pounds each. 11 pounds over stock SL but 10 pounds lighter than the KO3's and 7 pounds lighter than the AT4Ws. Louder than SL Toyo and the KO3's, but about on par with the AT4Ws. You hear them, but it isn't bad. Seems to have much better roll and don't feel as sluggish as the KO3's.

Hopefully I'm done thinking about tires for a bit. Forgot to mention, I went with 275 over the factory 265 because this is a true 33.19" diameter tire over 32.64" in the 265.

Looking at the same tire specs on my 2025 Platinum.
17x8.5 and 285/70/17.
Offsets are going to be +25. What are the offsets here?

I have no rubbing, no trimming needed, no need to remove crash brackets. Everything just worked out perfectly, but oh is it close haha

The Bilstein 6112's at circlip setting (#3) for a 2" lift in the front paired with the 1" (~0.8") Westcott Designs rear coil spacers and a factory rake of ~1.6", retains a slight rake after lifting which makes it look super mean.

IMO the amount of rubber on the 285/75R17 fills out the wheel well perfectly and pairs really nicely with the (2" front + 2.4" final rear height).

Removed front stock flaps due to rubbing. Waiting on Pro flaps that are slimmer & wider.
