In my opinion, I'm fine with the brightness. I have spare window tint film that I could cut out small rectangle & tape it over the light to reduce the brightness.
Can't make it brighter if I were to get the 720 lumens one.
Installed new LED lights to replace the dim stock rear dome light. Took 10 minutes to install and the result is literally night & day!

No cheap clips like generic Amazon options. These deflectors from Weathertech use tensions to stay in place for the front. Rear pieces have 3M adhesive tapes.
Installed Weathertech windows deflectors. Easy & looks good. Color is smoked tint. Fitment is perfect. Front doesn't required adhesive, as it use tensions & gravity to stay in place. Rear does have adhesives.
Pricey ($104 shipped) for 4 pieces but would buy again for future vehicles! 10/10.
Put a gopro/dash cam/old phone to record the screen while driving so you can have proof for dealer to replace your screen. Otherwise, they will use the trick "issue unable to replicate" and won't fix it.
90% of dash cam out don't have good image sensor for night time license plate read out from a distance. You need a real 4K sensor but that comes at high cost, heat & storage. During day time, most will do fine.
Here's a pro tip: if you witness an accident while driving with dash cam active...
I searched on Ebay which has better results with actual image of a product and found the "35230" part number is the correct one, NOT "34230" from original post.
See reference & proof: https://ebay.us/m/Gl00CZ
No. The part number on the back of the sun shade matches the box too.
What the OP from that sunshade thread post was incorrect. I searched on Google & all dealerships have the wrong stock photo for this part.
You can find it on ebay easier since people will post used part & real pictures. See...
Bought PTQ24-34230 like the OP said.
It DOES NOT fit!! I think the shade is for Tundra model (check pic label of box). The text also says TOYOTA, not TRD. The shade is longer than our 4Runner's windshield.
@E.T., I don't know where you got that picture from, but it's incorrect!! I Hope this...
I got the sunshade according to that PN in the thread and the text says "TOYOTA" instead of "TRD" π‘ so pissed! Also, it DOES NOT fit! It's too long. Now, I gotta deal with return.
You could've check installation video on YouTube to see that the map & dome lights aren't standard bulbs, or otherwise, there wouldn't be expensive option like Meso.
I posted this in another thread but reposting here:

Magically, the squealing has STOPPED right after! I'm not sure it's a fluke...
