  1. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

5th gen prices are crazy the more I look. 50k plus for vehicles with close to 75k on them. Cheaper for me to drop this off, lease a new SR5 and buy a 2 year old Prius or Corolla hybrid. And for less than I’m paying now.
  2. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

I’m fine with my payment for the vehicle, I just don’t want to add another vehicle on top when I can keep the same payment and get two vehicles AND save on gas. New one is great - almost got stolen 2 weeks after I bought it and frankly afraid to stay in hotels in toronto again overnight with it...
  3. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

I might lease one now - be cheaper than what I bought the platinum for. Driving the platinum 600 kms a week would cost a fortune.
  4. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

5th gen will be the second car. Might even look at a cheap lease. Pretty much kids to school and volleyball tournaments on the weekend. Very limited miles. Commuter beater car will drive 600kms a week at least. I can pick up a beater and 5th gen for almost what I can get in an after tax...
  5. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

I just have to see it in person
  6. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

If anyone has a line on a gen5 that they want to get rid of, I’m all ears.
  7. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

Found a 5th gen anniversary edition with low kms and I’m trying to decide if I love or hate the stripe.
  8. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

Ran the math. For a Prius or Corolla vs that vehicle - add in all the trips from house to volleyball in Hamilton which is 75km each way - it’s dramatic. Talking 150 month vs 500 at least. Plus this thing is much cheaper monthly payments than the 4runner as well. Talking several hundred less...
  9. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

Well we’re looking at 400/month in gas and I have an offer for 5k less than I paid which isn’t bad. So figure I’ll make up the difference in less than a year.
  10. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

Older gen is on the backburner, and it would only be driven on weekends to tourneys. For not going to focus on a prius or corolla or camry for her to commute in. My lease is up on my vehicle so I'll just get something bigger. Mileage is less important since I work from home and the kids...
  11. Gotta say goodbye to my Gen 6

Decided to become a one family car. I work from home, wife got a new job 5 minutes away and kids schools are walkable distance. Got a new platinum and off to the races. Mods planned - new wheels, tires, lift. Suddenly. Wife gets transferred 60 kms away and kids decide they wanna play for a...
  12. Aftermarket Wheels, Bigger Tires, Lift Kits (Compilation) for 2025+ 4Runner 6th Gen -- Add Yours!

Looking at the same tire specs on my 2025 Platinum. 17x8.5 and 285/70/17. Offsets are going to be +25. What are the offsets here?
  13. Crossbars - where to buy without paying OEM prices?

Don’t suppose you’re in Canada? Sigh.
  14. Crossbars - where to buy without paying OEM prices?

Looking at starting out my build. Where is everyone getting theirs without paying OEM prices?
  15. Blackhorn Wheels - experience / reviews?

I'm in! Think this is the answer I've been looking for. I'm also in southern Ontario. Where has everyone ordered from?
  16. Fitment check: Moving from 20s to 17s on '26 TRD Sport Premium – Will 0 offset rub?

17s are fine. Zero offset in 275 will probably give you some trouble. You’re probably safe at 265 though.
  17. Zero 0 offset setup?

Thanks. Looking at 265/70/17 grappler G3 on the wheels. Math says almost 3 inches out from where they currently sit…but they’re pretty tucked in
  18. Zero 0 offset setup?

Looking at a new setup. Wheels are 17 x 9. + 0. Tires are Toyo 265/70/17 Toyo One shop says aggressive but good. One says too aggressive and no way. Coming to the source here for final word. 2025 Platinum.
