I said I would do this, and the Dealer finally got my matching touch-up paint. Thought I would throw the pics in random photos for the day.
New MudBath pro got it's first mud (er dust) bath off Lime Creek Road near Vail today.
It's a *beast* driving up I-70 from town. The hybrid engine/transmission runs circles around the 5th gen - it could go faster up the hill than I was comfortable driving, and could even accelerate and pass on the steepest parts (the old 4Runner would have been foot to floor, and if you had to slow down, it'd take several miles to get back up to speed).
And then we went offroad
. Nothing too severe, just breaking it in, but crawl control was really nice on the rough parts going downhill.
