  1. Bucket List Camping via Breathtaking Rimrocker Trail + Arkto Campers Trailer

Looks like an incredible adventure! I’d love to go there one day.
  2. CAMTuning 2.4L Tuning development with Cobb Tuning

Congratulations! These are some great numbers and right where I was expecting the HP to be with tuning, the CAI and intercooler combined. I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out with more SXTH Element engineering. All the best!
  3. Low Fuel Warning Light not coming on (2025 4Runner TRD Pro)?

It’s probably going to be much lower than anything else you have ever owned. There’s about a 3 gallon reserve at empty. Mine has come on once at 20 miles left. Being someone who typically refills with a quarter tank left, I struggle to let it fall much below 50 miles.
  4. Anyone install Larger Cooling Upgrades on Hybrid 4Runner?

@SXTH Element sells an aftermarket intercooler, so most likely someone has installed that. I’m not so sure about a transmission cooler. I’ve seen others ask about one, but I’m doubtful anyone has even developed one of those yet.
  5. Engine/Turbo reliability inquiry

Here’s another video. Keep the oil changed, and you will be fine. I am in the habit of checking my oil due to the age of my other vehicles. I’m currently at 8,200 miles on the 4Runner, and I had the oil changed at 1k, 3k and 5k (that’s a whole other topic - early and often oil changes)...
  6. TRD Sport Premium Wind Chill Pearl Build: OTT Tune, King Shocks, 2.5" lift kit w/ sway bar links, Arena Trophy Wheels, Wildpeak 285/70/17 AT4W + more

I got my OTT tune today and immediately felt the difference. This was my best 0-60 time, and I was consistently in the 7s.
  7. Reliability of Hybrid Turbo 4 iForce Max after 100k miles (an owner's report)

There are a few things that should have also been done IMO that weren’t mentioned. 1. Differential service every 30-40k 2. Radiator flush, brake and power steering fluids every 30k 3. Transmission fluid drain and refill every 50k
  8. Installing CBI covert stock bumper + warn winch. Any install videos out there?

I have the bumper from Rago Fabrication, and I can’t reach in from under the hood at all. I don’t think it’s going to be possible with the CBI bumper either. So, my Bluetooth remote flaked out on me and didn’t connect. Fortunately, I was just testing it out. It finally started working again...
  9. Newb here looking for advice and ideas

Charleston, SC? Get the onX Offroad app for your phone. The SC Adventure Route (SCAR) is pretty cool and is a mix of complexity. The app will show you the latest road conditions. Be careful on any of our roads after heavy rainfall. I had a bumper and winch installed on mine. That will get...
  10. TRD Pro - Not So Pro Ride Quality!!!

I am in SC where our roads are horrible as well. For secondary roads and some of our highways, there isn’t a good riding vehicle, at least of the ones I own. I believe the 4Runner is the best of the three.
  11. Running boards delete / removal - before and after pics?

I should have taken a picture of the mud mountains on my running boards! Even after a touchless car wash, there was a pile left! I’ll admit I was putting it through the paces in some fairly muddy terrain though. LOL!
  12. Running boards delete / removal - before and after pics?

One thing that pissed me off about my purchase was that the salesman told me these running boards were OEM rock sliders. Whatever…. I certainly didn’t know better and perhaps he didn’t either. BTW, I ordered and settled for what was inbound. There wasn’t much different from what I wanted...
  13. Running boards delete / removal - before and after pics?

I’m thinking about ditching the running boards. My wife and I are both tall, so we tend to get hit in the shins on the way in and the calves on the way out. I’ve tried to embrace using them but haven’t gotten there yet.
  14. Front End Alignment

I spoke with a service advisor at the dealership from which I purchased. He believes the official specifications should be coming out soon but could not provide a definitive date.
  15. Front End Alignment

We’re quickly approaching 2026, and I’ve yet to hear or see much about front end alignments for these 4Runners. I’ve been advised twice over the phone that the shops can handle it, but when I arrive, I hear a different story. They can’t pull up the vehicle via the VIN and can’t align it. From...
  16. Switched from Regular to Premium gas. 4Runner runs better (more power & smoother)

I do notice the difference with 93 octane. The truck has noticeably more power IMHO. It may only be 20hp, but I can feel the difference.
  17. Auburn Police 4Runner 6th Gen Patrol Vehicle Upfit

I’m curious about what they have done to it from a performance and suspension standpoint.
  18. Random Daily Photos of the Day Thread - Post Your 4Runner Pics! šŸ“ø

A couple pictures of my child as my wife likes to call her! šŸ˜‚
  19. Best level kit that maintains best ride quality?

The ReadyLift was what was put on the front of mine. The guy who installed didn’t want to add anymore lift than that. I’m really impressed with how it turned out. Now, I’m going to a local Midas shop for the alignment. He said he can handle it.
  20. Best level kit that maintains best ride quality?

Wow! Thanks! So, if I consistently deliver that message about using the Tacoma specs, I might be able to talk someone into doing it or at least get the dealership to do it. That’s crazy though!
