Does your dealer even admit to hearing it? The service manager at mine keeps insisting they don't hear it, even when they are driving and it's plain as day to me sitting next to them.

It happens with mine and I don't have the hybrid. My issue was the same even after having the TSB done for the brake noise, so I'm not sure it's that.

Like: Good blend of hands on controls with modern electronics and functionality. It really is a go anywhere kind of vehicle for me, from looking nice around town to letting me explore anywhere in the backcountry. I personally like the stiffer handing compared to my 22 Tacoma, maybe not as good...

Ceramic coatings don't do anything for scratch prevention, so I wouldn't focus on that aspect as the reason for scratches. They are literally just a few atoms thick, not going to make any difference when it comes to that kind of protection.

Mine is definitely coming from the engine compartment, and with almost 9k miles on the ORP now it's only getting slightly louder.

Just a follow up in case anyone reads this in the future, the issue was not related to the brake TSB. That has been completed and I still have this chirping noise.

If it's a bearing or other suspension issue I'm guessing it can affect either of the front wheels.

No luck, been trying to find a way for months so I can keep my bike rack on the back without at beeps or warnings every time I start the vehicle.

I've been dealing with this since day 1 on my ORP, definitely frustrating. For me it happens once I get above 20MPH or so, and is more pronounce the warmer out it is. Dealer said they couldn't hear it the two times I took it in, which is frustrating as once you hear it it's hard to NOT hear...

Having the front skid plate definitely makes this a lot easier, only two jack points to do all 4 tires each winter which is nice.

Yeah, it’s the main reason I didn’t get the Pro or TH as well. Would have loved the added torque of the hybrid, but I need that storage space more.

FWIW I ended up getting the Orvis one and I’m completely happy with it. Holding up very well to some decent abuse, and my dog loved the front vent material when the AC is needed.

Mine eventually went away on its own, but it took weeks.
