How do you like the side panels for the back from Canvasback? They're attached to the plastic via sticky back velcro right? I've been eyeing them but am concerned it'll be hard/messy to remove down the road.Loaded with every piece of Canvasback I can fit in the back.
Yeah side and back panels are attached via velcro. Time will tell on how easy to remove but this will be a 15yr car for me!How do you like the side panels for the back from Canvasback? I think my paint is still hardening after 6 months ownership! Seriously, the paint and clear coat is very poor quality. That contributed to the original wash and detail by the dealer causing swirls and scratches!Lovely Fur friends! Beware of those claws, these 4Runners scratch by breathing on it. Clearcoat and paint are softer that butter.
Lovely! I totally agree on the window thing. At least rolled up haft way or something. I learned the hard way when it was 99% up and the door was frozen....First ride in the 4Runner. To the dog park of course. Plenty of room for the big guy. Just wish I could raise the hatch with the window open to let him out vs raising the window first. I get why they have that as a safety feature but I wish I could disable it so my dog doesn't get pinched by the window going up (seems like there is a safety issue no matter what you do). Not a big deal though. He loves hanging his head out the open window and I see a lot of smiles at stop lights from people behind me watching him.

You can get relatively low cost low amperage electric fans that are small enough to circulate air. You just plug it into your 120 inverter, and you're done, unless your dog likes to chew on wiresQuestion for the furRunners out here - How do yal keep your dogs cool in the cargo area?
I'm considering a small fan attachment. Slightly disappointed that Toyota didn't include vents in the cargo region/3rd row since I have a Limited trim, but alas it's not meant for that.
This is what I have. Clips on to my pet barrier. It runs on a USB-C and battery which is great because it will run even when the car is off. It also has a small remote that fits nicely in the little storage thing on the side in the back. Remote is limited in that it needs line of sight but i just use it to avoid crawling in the back. A 10' USB-C tucks in nicely to the 2nd row USB port and out of the way of the dogs. You can get relatively low cost low amperage electric fans that are small enough to circulate air.
