I use a Wolfbox G900TriPro and you can see the rear view camera mounted on the rear spare tire at the bottom of the license plate. I am going to mount the front bumper one under the truck facing forward (probably behind the driver's wheel somewhere near the transfer case or trans case) to see obstacles better. The 360 camera system works pretty well so no need to add another one on the front end or bumper.
Nice work. For others that may like to do a similar setup, Yota Xpedition sells a mounting kit for over the battery.Installed a BantamX, Blaze Off-Road battery mount, SDHQ Battery Terminals, and a fuse mount I designed. I have hydraulic hood props so the mount over the brake system wouldn't work.
Take the screw out and see if the splines on the inside of the knob are stripped, if so, then yes, a new knob will fix it. Even comes with the sticker to replace.
Ok - so you’re still using the 360 on your main monitor…correct? The Wolfbox looks like it’s providing a lot of good info though. When you select reverse, does it still display the view on the main monitor… just obscured by the tire?
Yeah the stock rear view camera (on main display) is completely blocked by the spare tire and the floor jack mount but the WolfBox shows their camera on the rearview mirror and if you attach the brake light wire it will give you a full uncropped view with adjustable guide lines, although they are not 100% exact as the stock ones but they work really well and has a very wide FOV.
