The key is to know which latch you are working on. There are two types in the design. The one you have to push up underneath it. The other one that looks like the end of salad tongs you have to spread apart as the secure themselves by pinching around something.

I’ve been back and forth with their tech support person. She said they have a pigtail in process that seems to be solving the issue but they need a bit more time. It would sit between the two connectors.

Really wanted yellow fog lights cause I only use them in foul weather. Swapped in Baja Design S2s. If you look online you can see how pulling the front of truck off isn’t that hard and then it is likely an easy swap.

Interestingly, some simple google searches turn up lots of Alpharex users complaining about something similar going back a few years. Sometimes its headlights, sometimes its tail lights. AI seems to relate it to low-draw LED conversions. Suggesting some sort of resistor kit.

I have a rear tire swing out mounted on my hitch, so this is an issue I am all too familiar with.
