If you clean and lubricate the automatic board hinges annually they should keep working. I live in upstate New York where we get lots of snow. I own a 2019 Escalade and my auto boards weren't working right. I watched a YouTube video on how to clean and lubricate the hinges. Worked great no more...
That's too cool! I hunt the Adirondaks but I've spent time in Potter County (God's Country), PA fly fishing in Kettle Creek with a friend who owns a camp down there. I have another friend who guides elk hunts in the Allegheny region. Love to see the elk population continuing to grow.
I think there's a difference between using water and high pressure water. I don't see how you can effectively clean your engine bay without at least a water rinse.
Based on what I've read here plus all the research I've done, I decided to pull the trigger on the Falken Wildpeak AT4W 265/70R18 116T tires with the TRD Pro 20 mm offset wheels for my '25 ORP. No fitment issues at all with stock suspension staying with the stock tire size. Really no need to go...
I had the wheels off but have heard others were able to install them wheels on. There are no written instructions only a YouTube video. I had to watch it in short clips following step by step. Would have been much easier with an instruction manual. Mine came out nice though happy I did it.
Finally done here are new pics with new 265/70R18 Falcon Wildpeak AT4W's on TRD Pro 20 mm offset wheels. Also added ARK splashguards front and rear. While at it painted calipers with G2 epoxy paint. Wish I had done it when they were new but with work they came out nice.
I watched short clips to see what goes where. Some were obvious others mot so much. I do think O got ttem all and had some extra rivets.. I completely agree they could do alot better.
I added the Auxbeam AS-R40 RGB 4 ganger switch panel kit. The hardest part is getting the cable through the firewall. I really like the fit and finish of this model. Yota Xpedition sells an over the battery mounting plate for both hybrid or non-hybrid models which is a great spot for the box and...
I just added the ARK front and rear splashguards. I agree it sure would have been nice to have written insructionns. I was able to figure it out and had no problems installing them.
I Went with the FitcamX after watching your video. While the quality of the videos/pics is not the very best, I'm happy with the fit, finish, and function. I barely even know it's there. Also, I found a harness that plugs in to the factory dashcam jack that enables parking mode.
I also added...
I have a Carista ODB module and a heads up display that also plugs in to my ODB. I tried adding a splitter and found out my Carista module won't work in parallel. Any chance you know of a solution for this? I can just reach under and unplug the HUD to access the Carista but that's a pain.
I set...
I added a Victory 4X4 powder coated aluminum cover. It sits up allowing good air circulation under it plus aluminum is a good conductor of heat theoretically helping to absorb and dissipate. It's made so most everything is still accessible for service and looks great too. I can't say for sure it...
