Hey guys!

Bilstein appears to have finally published partnumbers for their 5100's and 6112 / 6100 shocks for the 6th Gen 4Runner -

5100 Front - 24-347464 (0-2.75" lift)
5100 Rear - 24-347433

6112 Front - 47-347472 (1.3-3" lift)
6100 Rear - 24-347440

It doesn't appear that these partnumbers have been loaded into distributor catalogs yet so I can't give you an idea on ETA / availability of actual physical parts yet but at least this is progress. I have an email out to one of our reps and will update when I get info!

Bilstein has them in stock, they should be trickling out to dealers soon. We have them on order!

Just a heads up a ran 5100 on my Gen 5 and got less then 20,000 km out of them, replaced the fronts with a new set and the new set also failed within 20,000 km. They were a good ride and no complaints but the life expectancy wasn't there for me to continue using them. Maybe their Gen 6 models will last longer.

Thats good news! After Bilstein R&D used my ORP Hybrid for testing, they gave me a timeline of May/Early June for delivery to install the 6112/6100 + UCAs. Hopefully sooner than later now that part #s are showing up!

Weird. The 5100s on my Tundra have well over 100,000 miles on them, and they're fine.

I have seen many reviews as well with great experiences. Maybe its the way i drive, maybe its the 4 months of -35C i live in, i dont know, but i got less then 50,000 km out of 2 front end sets before they were leaking. I specifically remember the quote from one of my mechanics when he crawled under my truck after i took it in for "bad clunking on front end" and he crawled back out and said "well, thats the worst leaking shock iv ever seen"

thats kinda weird that 51 or 61 series dont last. i mean they have been a staple for 4R since the beginning of the 5th gen, especially for replacements for the x-reas system when they finally go bad

I saw two websites they already sell/preorder Bilstein 6112. In one of these websites, it says if installed rear 6100, 4RUNNER ORP requires to extened sway bar. Does anyone know about this requirement for ORP??
