I wanted to bring this thread back to life for a quick update. Has the OP had the issue come back at all or have we confirmed what the actual issue was?
If you also click to build the 4runner, in teh interiori view you can see the TRD ORP model does have a break controller installed.
Please also note that all of my comments on this is only related to the ORD Hybrid model, i ahve not researched any of the other build models.
Hey Friends,
To better understand the key changes in the 2026 model i have revised the first post of the thread with the update differences broken out between Canada and America. I will keep updating that first post as we discover more.
the american versions appear to come with other options then the Canadian's.
American 4runners 2026 are getting sway bar disconnect options but Canada's are not. I assume break controller is same thing but Canada gets it and America does not.
Can u confirm where u heard that? In my 2026 im taking delivery in a few weeks there was no note of that option. If it actually is an option id love to get it added!!

go to a gravel road or gravel pit or some place...
I liked the video, the reviewer did a good job putting the rig through its paces.
i am looking forward to seeing more videos come out actually testing the technology more in depth.
the driving modes and slip control on these rigs is truly world class, when you start really getting into the...
in my reading and research elsewhere i have found there is no rubbing with 275. Even if you use an aggressive all terrain tire it still clears all wells at full lock.
i was able to confirm this with another post on this forum as well as you tube videos of actual users doing the larger tire.
