iv had it on my rig for about 4 months now and i love it. Wind noise is not bad at all. Highway at 110 km/h you hear it slightly but the tire noise is more noticeable then the roof rack.
All in im very happy with it.
heres a pic with some stuff mounted to it last month on a trip i did.
Looks great man! I did the identical install as you. I used AUX 4 though and put AUX 3 for my winch. I like how u ran up into the fuse box, much cleaner then how i did it. I may need to steal your idea :!
My install and rig review here...
sorry, i should give more context to help others understand.
To further my experience and validation, my sound is identical to yours in The video, so much so that i was referencing your video while making my truck do it at the same time and its 100% the exact sound you have.

I am bringing this thread back to life as i am having the identical issue. It started showing up around 2000 km and now at 3500 km and its constant between 1400 - 1500 rpm.
i had my friend hold the break and gas at the same time at 1500 rom while i popped the hood and investigated. It appears...
I have the iForceMax Hybrid and i find the hybrid motor kicks in fast under 60 km/h with no real noticeable turbo lag, but when i hit highway at about 100 km/h i do find the lag is slightly there or the hybrid is a little more delayed in pushing the truck till the turbo kicks in. In the city...
Wanted to come back to this. I removed the the factory battery and installed the high output ODYSSEY AGM.
Tonight i hooked my winch at my office to the building and gave it a test and can confirm the torque and power is substantially better then The factory flooded battery. I was able to hold...
I wanted to have a dead cut off of the radio. U can also connect to white (i think) that is always on 12V as well.
The manual says what color wire is for what AUX
I toed into AUX 3 wire inside the cabin. The manual outlines what wire it is.
Do you have factory AUX buttons? If not then you need to splice into a fused line or run a whole new 12v line
picked up a decent AGM that fits the same group size on factory. Ill install this weekend and do a stress test and update this thread from there. Also when picking up the battery the tech there helped me measure things out and we might be able to fit a group 27 battery in the rear space. Im...
be very careful, that fuse box is only rated for 250 amps and most winches pull 350 - 450 at full stop. Connect your winch to a anchor point or a friends vehicle, Have your friend put his truck in neutral and hold is break down. You also put your truck in neutral and hold your break down...
i never trusted lithium due to the cold temps we experience. I found AGM to be the safer option when we hit -30C. Hows your luck been with the lithium ones?
Wanted to provide a quick review here that any serious off roader should be aware of regarding the factory battery and installing winch systems.
I installed a Greenlane bumper with a Warn Evo 10-s 10,000 lb winch. I ran an over size 2A positive wire rated for 2000 watts from rear to front so...
