Sadly, I've never seen a Toyota dealer that would adjust for larger tires. I don't even know if they can. Aftermarket solutions aren't optimal either. Toyota's computers are locked down tight AF. Most other manufacturers make it a fairly easy process.
The OEM grill has the camera hole, but not a mount. I bought the $30 Rave camera mount and am going to relocate my factory camera up there by moving the wire harness.
From factory ORP to factory TH/Pro grill, it moves the camera about 14ish inches. You should be able to calibrate it yourself...
Been using these for years in the garage. They last a long time, are tough AF, and very useful. I had to buy a new one that wasn't covered in grease to put in the cubby though LOL
I'm going OEM, and have all the parts purchased and sitting on the bench ready to go. I'm easily twice the cost of this setup and I got good deals on all the parts. Just a used OEM light bar is more than this entire kit, and you have to tear it apart and rewire it to make it work.
That's a good deal!
If this had popped up, I'd not have done the factory light bar route lol
I'm happy or sad for you on the loss of your 4Runner, depending on your circumstances 😂
Not saying that this is what yours is, but on my 02 Silverado, I had this exact sound. Like a wrapper or like bugs constantly tapping the windshield.
Turns out, it was my bug shield messing with the airflow over the hood/into the windshield. The sound was the windshield surround fluttering on...
No.
The reviews whined and whined about the plastic, I was thinking it would be awful.
After buying...I never think about it until I see these threads that talk about it.
O'Reilly's will straight up sell you a can of spray paint in Heritage Blue. Has to be one of their paint locations and you have to have Toyota's paint code.
Yup. But that was my goal. I didn't want to have to have my brights on or any other computer shenanigans.
I have the aux switches, so I only need to run about two feet of wire from the light to the pre-wired drop behind the headlight. Pulling under 10 amps, so that's easy peasy.
I now have...
That's not what's happening here. And again, this is saying more about you than them. You're going out of your way to crap on somebody's thread about doing something they enjoy, and acting superior about it. Get over yourself.
