if i need to carry extra gas, i would stay away from the hitch mount carry solution.
that limit is roughly 500 lbs but remember that is not static weight back there. that fuel will slosh and cause issues.
i would consider roof rack storage as that is more robust but then again you are limited...

funny how toyota was the first to push the agenda back in 2013 for these new headlights.
also if you look at the original window sticker the price is the same, just online they have to show the new dealer doc fee in the listing.
here is a snip from my dealer vs the window sticker
not surprised there is only 1 toyota on this list and the one that is was my first choice if i decided not to get a 4runner
NOTE : i added the 4runner/sequoia to the list to give a comparison (LC250 isnt listed on toyota website for specs)...
well the structure is completely different on a 4R than a taco.
1. an open bed you dont have to worry about crash testing as much, since you dont carry people in a truck bed
2. you also dont have to cover a bed with interior hardware (carpet, panels, more seats)
3. dont have to accomodate...
1. get rid of the grandtrek pt5a, they are completely useless even for pavement use and especially snow use.
2. depending on choice, if you do more pavement than off road, you could get by with defender ltx ms2, another option for more of a highway and off road capability is to go with ascent...
it depends on the app you use to rip to mp3. if it downloads or you manually input the data for each track
1. it can either save the meta data into the mp3
2. or make a mp3 data file that the program/app will pull that meta data out of the dat file
other alternative is to rip them to your phone and BT to the headunit.
you could use spotify to play music off your phones storage, i use to have dedicated music apps (to play my ripped mp3's) but i moved on to spotify family plan and download my playlists so i dont have to worry about a cell...
i think the big misconception is that since the PRO/TH are 1in higher in suspension height that equates to 1in taller vehicle height.
in this case toyota was mindful of keeping the over height of the vehicle close to the mainstream trims but did some magic voodoo underneath to even things out...
just a note, the oem black wheels on the platinum chip very easily.
already have a few and its white underneath so its very noticeable when you chip them
??? um i didnt even post in this thread so i dont know why i am mentioned.
no clue about suspension details so i tend to stay out of the in depth conversations about suspensions
surprisingly this doesnt work as well as you think.
most front doors are curved (top/bottom) so the middle will hit before the bottom will hit the sliders. rear doors mostly have a wheel well cutout so that is even worse for the slider to come into play.
your best bet is just to park out in...
so i am guessing you dont have a device between the panels and cooler to dump the excess power generated by the panels or a dump load device ???
i am also guessing you are using the panels to dump the excess power as heat thru the panels themselves (same as having nothing attached to the power...
on i have my PKSB light on all the time since i turned it off completely. not really ideal to have that constantly being engaged during winters up here in ND.
especially since it sits in the garage over night and i dont have a heated garage. usually the garage is about 10F warmer than the...
just so you know, the low limit warning light threshold is based on the cold psi factory setting minus 20-25%
33 psi = 6.6 psi to 8.25 psi
32 psi = 6.4 psi to 8 psi
some vehicles are set to 32 or 33 psi based on the door plate if i remember correctly on the 6th gen.
the psi setting is for all the tires under that id set profile, not just for each individual tire. so if your baseline for that id profile is 33 psi, then any tire that breaks the low limit of the profile settings will throw a warning.
you could do the jury rig approach and put the sensor in a...
tire psi will dependent on ambient temp at the time of air up.
i filled tires at 33 psi at 40F and its great until the ambient temps jump to 70F or higher. then that 33 psi jumps to 34 or rarely 35 psi inside the garage.
and 33 psi at 0F or colder will be way different once those tires get...
i suppose until tss 4.0 comes along, this is a moot point.
but dont expect tss 4.0 to come to the 4R anytime soon. you will have to wait until the next gen for a newer tss version if toyota follows the normal protocol.
(protocol is being they dont update a gen tss version until a new gen, at...
