Due to engine break-in and the possibility of metal shavings coming from the engine (as I've seen posted in forums and videos on YouTube, which have reported problems). I had mine changed at 1000 by a local shop for peace of mind. I'll also probably have it changed at 5k, but Toyota said it doesn't need it until 10k.
If people feel they need to change the oil extremely early, have at it! Change it every day of the week if it makes you feel more comfortable. But I'm sure Toyota also has data that led to their 10,000 mile oil change interval. I think the better question is why does Toyota recommend every 10,000 miles under normal conditions? They are not worried about break in? They are not worried about warrantying a bad engine under warranty? Just saying.

Can’t answer that as I’m not a Toyota engineer, but I looked at it as better safe than sorry.

If you're going to use logic I also wonder how many followers the YT "experts" would have if they just said "follow the manufacturer's recommendations". That's what AI says too. Hmmm.

No need for “logic” and AI— we can use empirical evidence (oil analysis) and make decisions based on data. Huzzah!

My oil was clean as new at 1300 miles...so oil analysis would have been throwing away more money! May as well throw it in the fireplace!!
