  1. Drawer System Recommendations

DO NOT YSE WHEELSFEELS. I had one of their systems for a different vehicle and had problems with the system, and thej ultimately with their customer service. I had to have my bank reverse the charges eventually. For my -4Runner I went with Solid Wood Worx and have been happy with them/it. I...
  2. RCI Rock Slider Order, Install and First Impression (ORP Install)

As a disclaimer, this is my first 4Runner, although I have owned other vehicles that I have driven in the mountains occasionally and have used primarily for overlanding. I admit I am NOT a seasoned rock crawler and probably never will be. I have traveled to CO over the past 5 years, and every...
  3. Westcott Designs collar lift kit installed on TRD Pro

To follow up on this, I was out in CO for a week this past July, loaded for bear, and I did have a slight sag in the rear. I should have gone with the Dobinsons coils that were the next level above +110 lbs.
  4. SR5 OEM Center Arm Rest Upgrade (Part Number 58905-35160-C2 -- Door Sub-Assembly, Console Compartment)

I wanted to confirm that this part # is for the top flip up piece only? It’s over $200!
  5. RCI lead times, been waiting over a month and a half

I’ve been dealing with the same issue. Ordered some rock sliders and have had to send three emails to find out where they are. They keep telling me there’s a production issue or some sort of hardware issue but they are finally arriving today via FedEx.
  6. Bug Shield / Hood Protector -- pros and cons?

I have one on mine and I don’t see any cons. I do a lot of highway driving and have seen chips on the front of my hood on previous vehicles so I wasn’t taking a chance with this one. I’ve already noticed chips on the lower sections of the front and none on my hood, so I know the hood protectors...
  7. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. New profile, no picture, one thread with 12 posts-probably all right here on this thread. You just came on here to troll people. Get a life.
  8. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

For the type of wheeling, I’m going to be doing. I’m 100% comfortable using the preload collar lift kit from Westcott designs with heavier duty coils. I have a full skid package as and weeding on rock sliders still from RCI. Maybe down the road I’ll put a bigger lift on and upgrade the entire...
  9. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

You’ll need to upgrade your coils to counter the weight. I upgraded one level to the 110 lbs Dobinsons coils and wish I would’ve gone heavier duty. Once I got everything loaded in the back of my 4Runner I noticed some slight sag.
  10. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

You’re correct. Pre load lifts and spacers are not designed to Baja style race, especially over large rocks, small boulders, technical tails, etc. Having said that, if you drive over terrain slowly and pick your lines you’ll be fine. I will also add the quality of components makes a huge...
  11. RCI Skid Plate Oil Change... It's worth it.

I'm happy with RCI. All my armor is from RCI; I'm still waiting on rock sliders. I have a full undercarriage skid package from them.
  12. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

Approx 2" with the leveling kit and Billet Top hats.
  13. Guidance on the need to upgrade suspension or just do a lift on a 2025 Offroad Premium

Agree with this and just had my 4runner in CO on Green trails. 2" Westcott lift with 33's and I had zero issues at all.
  14. Rattles in B Pillar Interior

    Any aftermarket parts installed?
  15. 1.5 inch wheel spacers on stock TRD Off-Road ORP wheels

I just used a torque wrench to tighten to specs. Very minimal rub at full lock. As in I didn't even notice it for the first few months, and after I figured out it was rubbing, I could barely see any wear in that spot.
  16. 1.5 inch wheel spacers on stock TRD Off-Road ORP wheels

Must have missed this-sorry. This is a Husky bug deflector. I like it. I wash my truck just about once or twice a week, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear or scratches yet. Easy to install. https://huskyliners.com/p/husky-liners-aeroskin-low-profile-hood-protector/
  17. Beast Mode: 3" Lift on 35's

3.54 is deal. Its $5 a gallon for the cheap stuff where I am.
  18. Dalmatian Edition

I used to have a Liver spotted Dally! What a great dog he was! Love it!
  19. Show of hands: Those who do NOT want a moonroof (TRD off-road Premium)

I originally didn’t want it, it was included in the ORD premium package. Having said that the headroom in the sixth GEN 4Runner is extremely low. Having the moonroof up there makes it a little less claustrophobic.
