Wrong...I am almost 60 years old and have owned many turbos across many manufacturers. The maker knows they put a turbo in your vehicle. Their recommendations for oil change intervals are based on this!

Total waste of money...10,000 is fine for most driving conditions. My Toyota will last just as lomg as yours doing so.

Mobile 1 is fine, other reputable brands are fine too as long you go full symthetic and correct weight you can't go wrong. I have used in BMWs, VW's and other turbo engines and changed at 10,000 miles and never had issues with the type of driving conditions I drive in.
