Yeah...these came with my SR5 which I purchased 11/1/2025. Longevity...well I am not seeing it. They are very hard to keep clean and look worn already. Mine is a pavement princess, lives in a garage and only has 3500 miles on her and I live in the South...at least you got em on sale.
He is some guy on the internet that makes videos for money...I would not assume he make the rules. I did not change my filter on the first oil change at 1300. It will get changed on my second oil change at 10000 miles like the manual recommends.
I agree with the sport mode...it is silly to even put that on a truck! It just empties your gas tank faster and the god awful Toyota over the top fake engine noise is brutal! I wish we could pick the things we want to turn on...like tighter steering and turn off the engine noise and gas...
I learned to drive on a manual my first two or three cars were manuals. My first brand new truck was a manual. I see zero reasons to have a manual in anything other that a sports car...and then only if you don't mind being a little slower. Why anybody want a truck or an SUV with a manual is...
I drove from Portland OR to Charlotte NC 2700+ miles in less than 4 days. Stayed in hotels in Utah, Nebraska and Kentucky. By myself...the family took a flight.
Stiff rides are for sport cars...not Trucks and SUVs...I think you got it backaswards! One of the reasons I traded in my GTi for my SR5...much softer ride.
