If you’ve been watching our IG stories lately, you’ve probably seen us teasing a little something "spicy" in the works. Well, the secret is finally out.

Our Catch Can Kit for the 4th Gen Tacoma, 6th Gen 4Runner, and LC250 is officially moving into the production phase!
We did the homework.

We’ve been running these on local test trucks for a while now to make sure they’re perfect. The results? Honestly, even better than we expected. We’re seeing a significant amount of oily blowby being pulled out before it ever hits the turbo or intercooler piping.
We’ll be posting some "receipts" soon to show you exactly what these things are catching, but for now, just know your intake tract is going to thank you.

Why this kit?
  • Zero Guesswork: 3D-scanned for a perfect bolt-on fit. No universal brackets or "making it work."
  • OEM+ Quality: Custom molded hoses for the shortest path and a beefy 10oz billet aluminum can.
  • Engine Efficiency: Keeps the T24A-FTS running clean and breathing easy.
Don't get left behind.
Most people don't even know this is coming yet, but once the data drops, the first batch is going to fly.
Head over to the product page and hit the "Notify Me" button so you’re the first to know when they’re live and ready to ship.

Nice these things are even more important now with direct injection engines to help keep buildup off the valves

Whoever wants to keep the truck for a long time, this is really important.

These T24A-FTS engines in our 6th Gen have direct and port injection...

Pretty sure our engine has port injection as well as direct. Catch cans have benefits other than keeping carbon off your intake valves though.

I'm interested in the answer to Vicenzo's question...

Also @SXTH Element, knowledgeable people need to see the inside of the can before we buy.

4R 6G has DI and Port injection.

I need to spend time studying this to see if it has value or snake oil. So, no comment yet.

I am not sure this is to prevent carbon buildup on the valves and seats but I need to read up on the concept first.

I called OSC. All they do is catch cans. They don’t make one and don’t advise doing so. Something due to the design of the crankcase. What say you.
I’ll agree. This is one mod I’m not sold on.

I’m certain I’ve seen another thread or a video on this topic. A guy installed one on a 6 gen, and he reported back that he did not see any benefit.

Can't say I see a need for this product. Nor do I feel it missing being an oversight of the Toyota Engineers.

Period!

Yes the d4s system does have port and dfi but the port only helps reduce the build up, it doesn't eliminate it entirely. So instead of gummed up valves at 40k its more likely to hold off till 100k for example. But i agree with you they have other benefits and also interested in vicenzo's question

I am not an expert on the topic but, I suspect fuel choice and driving habits can influence carbon build up. I only use Tier 1 fuel.

On a previous vehicle, I'd put in a Chevron Fuel System additive once every few months. No clue it it was doing anything as I never needed to take the heads of or use a bore scope. The Engine was a 2.0 Ecoboost, twin turbo Ford. 160K, running like day one, same gag mileage and performance. Granted, that is a scientific analysis.

Kinda off topic, is anyone using a Fuel cleaner or additive on the 4R yet? I'll start a new thread if I don't see one already.
