I'm in the similar mod path and factoring in the hybrid battery weight, I'm very much leaning towards OME mt64. They seem perfect for my use case and should be able to support the weight without sagging.
Alright gang we've got resolution!
RRW worked things out with FedEx, and I was given two options: ship the wheel back for a replacement, or keep the damaged wheel and buy a new one at a heavily discounted rate. I chose the second option and will repurpose the damaged one as a full-size spare...
I've reached back out to RRW yesterday to inform them that they'd need to submit the claim to FedEx as it's under their account. My preference is to still resolve this directly with RRW. However, because I currently don’t have a viable path forward to process the damage claim, I've opened a...
@theapoco01 please never go into business. That's a completely unacceptable way of looking at or treating any customer like they're out to get you. They bought into your vision and choosing to support and vouch for your products with their money. As a business, loss is an operating expense and...
Yep, I'm venting and hindsight is 20/20. That page you're referencing is within their return policy page, correct? When I committed to buying from RRW, I'm not expecting to make a return so I never scanned through that section. And frankly, have hardly ever for any sites I've purchased from for...
This is mostly a vent post, so take it as that. And yes, in hindsight, I absolutely should’ve added shipping protection. That’s on me. Lesson learned. But the way this whole situation unfolded with RRW still feels pretty disappointing, and I wanted to share my experience so others know what to...
What's your impression of the westcott lift so far? Any Plans to upgrade to coils at any point? I'm going back and forth on whether the lift is sufficient or go with an OME setup.
Ultimately, decided to go with NYTop since the front section can be disassembled quickly. Originally was gonna go with CBI but the shipping and taxes killed it for me.
