Yep, I asked the dealer āduringā the 4k service. The advisor said we do front to back, no crossover. In fact, he had his peeps redo the back to crossover for me. Then, while at the dealer, I looked it up in the manual which I believe is common across trims. I am pretty sure it states front to...
I had the same question. Dealer stated front to back but no crossover. I found the same diagram online and told them to crossover.
While at the dealer waiting, I looked at the owners manual and found out Toyota recommends NO cross over.
So, I believe the diagram is not what Toyota recommend.
I have the SR5, stock and in eco 95% of the time. Came from a twin turbo ecoboost ford.
I find the power (HP and Torque) great. Driving in the city or highway, never been short of power. I donāt drive at 100+ so cannot speak to that. As a daily driver its more than adequate.
As others have...
Wrong and bad advise to propagate.
Show me in the manual or a Toyota doc thats stated you can submerge the engine if you have a snorkel.
Nice looking hood. Wonder what it cost and if its more ridged than the OEZm?
I donāt think the OP was asking about a ā4gā. He is asking for the host to support integrate with multi forum apps like TapForum.
Good luck, I doubt they will.
I highly recommend the hydraulic Quick Jacks. I used them for a number of years until I quit doing my own maintenance.
You drag them under, align with jack points and raise the whole vehicle with the push of a button. Obviously, you need to know what your doing and be careful.
Not used on a...
I have isolated the noise to be from inside the steering column. Its 100% of the time if I execute a sharp turn left or right. Not even a full turn, just like taking an abrupt lane change. No clunk or feel, just an audible click. Normal driving, no noise.
maybe normal?
I agree with Gumpus. I donāt have data but suspect the OEM offerings have been tested and not likely to impact a warranty claim. If the after market manufacturers have extensive testing to disprove this, post it or provide details with the product.
Appreciate the idea. Vehicle is in the garage. Its 45ish and has been mid 20ās outside but no snow or ice.
I might just be too sensitive to noise in a new vehicle.
Tried the wife as passenger but sheās not that enthusiastic about the job. She thinks its in tge steering column and could be right. This was based on a test ride we just did.
No click with acceleration or breaking. Only abrupt steering action. Wife said ādonāt do thatā. š

Hello:
I have a new noise that has developed in an SR5 4K miles, never taken off-road or modified. I noise the click noise if I do what I would call an abrupt lane change, on a quite road at 20-30 mph. It happens when making the maneuver left or right.
I have taken everything out of the car...
I think reading the owner manuals should be a requirement for service techs and advisors. The lack of knowledge is shocking to me. I feel I know more that the advisor at each interaction. Not just Toyota, other big name brands too.
A plus for Weathertech is that they are Made in the USA. However, I have found their mats in other vehicles just okay and they wear quickly. I also found that they are slow to bring mats out for new models. When I got my 2025 4R in April, they did not have anything for the 4R. I asked if it's on...
Not all dealers require you disclose a SS# if you're paying cash. They did take my DL #, name, address. If they asked for the SS#, I would have refused.
A few years ago, I purchased a VW for my wife. I took cash to the dealer after agreeing a selling price via email. We sat down to do the deal...
I generally don't have to deal with it. We don't have too much snow in my location but, when we do, my vehicles are garaged. I also have the option to just not go out reducing risk of collision, etc.
That said, depending on the snow (wet, frozen, powdery), I'd try my already owned leaf blower...
