Sorry if I missed it but were you able to keep driving it to the dealership or did it just stop and have to get towed? Low tranny fluid is ridiculous by the way; I will be running out and checking both mine IF they even have a dipstick.
I don't know a way..?How to check the transmission fluid level without a dipstick on the 6g?
You can't, they will have to drain it to check the level. The dealer can't and wont do it unless there is a serious recurring problem/messages that relate to the transmision.I don't know a way..?
Yes same as my Tundra was, when it's time for service you have to have a flush/refill done.Yes that’s the same answer I got from my dealership. It’s a closed loop system and requires a professional and only when there’s a problem
The process typically involves locating a specific fill plug on the side or bottom of the transmission, removing it, and checking the fluid level or adding fluid until it begins to overflow.
forgot to add, you have to bring the transmission temp to a specific temp (from cold) to check it correctly.
