Is it a hybrid?
Mine is a standard gas.

It was the air/fuel ratio sensor.
At the time none were available.
Took two weeks to get the part. But I was told initially could be up to a month so I drove it home.

The transmission clunk is kind of weird though.

They cleared the faults but on the way home as I was coming to a stop there was a shudder in engine, transmission or some place in the drive system and the light came back on along with every other light/warning on the dash.

Interesting to see what the problem is.
Mine is a hybrid, toyota tech got back to me today and said there was "history of a shift solenoid code" and are going to keep it for the weekend to try and recreate the issue.

Good luck getting it solved.
Getting a bit weird with these random failures of inexpensive but critical components.
But this stuff (at least the Ox sensor) was used in two 2024 Toyota vehicles, so not especially new.

The Drive-Start Control Malfunction came up in my 2025 TRD ORP non-hybri twice today. We are out of town and were out shopping. It came on, and I tried turning the truck off and back on. We went to a local dealership. I looked it up while waiting on the service doors to open and saw some had disconnected the battery, and it went away. The service advisor said they were swamped and wanted to know if I could leave it. They didn’t have a loaner, so I went back into the parking lot and disconnected the battery but hooked it right back up. I didn’t get far, and the same error came up. I disconnected the battery again while my wife was in the store and also wiped down all the sensors, radar and cameras. I’ve since driven about 40 miles and no issue. I call my dealership, and the guy I spoke with said it could be a bad battery. They have had multiple cases where that was the cause.
