I feel like I need to add a small electric chainsaw to my kit to clear trails or make firewood at camp. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality saw that won’t take up too much space?

I have the same Ego chainsaw. I bought it because I had the blower already, and it's battery was far too small for how much I need a blower...Chainsaw came with a bigass battery.I have a a 250 acre farm and have been a loyal Stihl buyer for years. I did divert about 5 years ago and bought a husqvarna 16” chainsaw and have had nothing but problems and it’s currently on IR so I’m done with that. When I went electric I naturally looked at Stihl but they were so much more expensive than the competition so purchased a DeWalt 8” pruner to start as I’ve used their 20V power tool system forever with great results. It worked well for a couple weeks and then started to profusely leak bar oil. Took it into DeWalt and they said it couldn’t be fixed. Hmmm. Also a close friend has a DeWalt 18” and has had nothing but problems.
So then my journey/research/reviews/articles/company research etc started for the best electric chain saw. Much to my surprise it landed on a a tool that looks like a toy, EGO. Never thought in a million years I’d buy this cheap looking laughable saw. But that’s where my research led me so I bought the 18”. As it turns out it’s a beast, solid, cuts amazing, battery life is the best and when that chain inevitably comes off it has a proprietary system to re attach the chain by hand with no tools needed. Yes you heard that correctly. Since then I’ve bought 2 other EGO power tools with great results. And they don’t even look like a toy to me anymore lol.
