Agreed. I thought it was a much bigger issue based upon the amount of traffic it was seeing here but in the end the marks wiped off my spare when I dropped it and I'm sure the dents would disappear after a few rotations of being driven. In the end obviously I can tell folks "you do you" but I...
Our experiences have been the same. I guess the fan is given a little extra "oomph" when it knows it has to provide for the rear seats and even the front vents benefit from that.
If I twist my body to grab my wallet from my back right pocket I inadvertently switch from eco to normal or normal to sport about 75% of the time. I guess it isn't a stretch of imagination to think the same happened but the button was pressed in allowing the whole dial to spin. I really wish...
A friend told me that they can improve the airflow by adjusting the rear seat airflow control. Maybe turn that off to direct even more towards you in the front seats?
I agree. Unless it comes with a lot of upgraded suspension parts too (links, knuckles, etc) but even then that's a pricy add on. I guess something can be said for it being fully included in the factory warranty though. But yowza that's a lot of money for a 4R.
Hmm...I did not check that. It's in the left compartment in back, right? I'll check that tomorrow. But the devil's advocate in me wonders how that could cause the clunk if it only happens when the suspension is taxed with weight.
I did pull off the ARK panels as I determined the one on the left was making a creaking sound where it contacted the frame. As I only had the rears installed it was a quick removal. I intend to put them back on once I clearance that one spot a little with an oscillating multitool a little. I...
Our newish 4R has a sound coming from the rear suspension. It only happens when there is a decent amount of weight inside, but I don't think it is overloaded in any way. For example, last night we had 4 people inside and it happened all the way to/from a restaurant. My in-laws are both slim...
I have this one from Autel: https://a.co/d/cPE2yNz
It works fine to retract the parking brake motors on my 2021 F-250 as well as my 2016 Civic. As it recognizes the Civic fine under the "import" category, I'm confident it will also read the 4R. You can often catch it with a discount box to...
I dropped the spare today as planned so that I could air it up. It was reading between 29 and 30 psi which kept triggering an alert on the dash. Bummer it's so hard to thread an air hose onto the valve stem when it is clamped up there upside down.
Anyways, you can see in the picture below...
Mine just looked like marks but maybe I didn't look close enough at it. My tire pressure light popped on so I'm planning on dropping the spare tomorrow (that was the one with 30psi - the rest were 34psi) so I will look more closely at it.
I dropped my spare a month or two ago before I sprayed everything with fluid film. It had the noticeable dents that you mention above, but they didn't seem like they would affect it long term. My spare would never be a permanent swap and won't be in the rotation as it is a different wheel; it...
If you are team yellow, then they have a great 12" bar saw that fits into their 20v battery system.

If you want larger than that, Greenworks makes a great 16" bar saw that cuts like a champ. It is for their 60v system but I know they also make them for the 40v and 80v...
Thanks for posting that - it's the first I've heard it. We have been fortunate that the sound hasn't happened yet with about 3200 miles on the odometer so far. It is bizarre that some folks do and some folks don't have it. Seems all should have the same brake components so all should be...
Perhaps. Mine wasn't exactly $12 nor $13.99 so maybe it's just not a great variation? I might put some tape on the bottom but part of the whole appeal was the ease of sliding it back out the side of the dash if I changed my mind about it.
It was the first interior storage option I bought for me...and least used. It tends to fall out pretty easily if you happen to stare too hard at it. I do like the one that fits over the center screen and lays on the dash...perfect for keys, glasses, change, etc.
