l went with Weathertech for the cargo floor and LasFit everywhere else. The Weathertech cargo mat seemed to be a better design to me than the LasFit version but I liked the LasFit better for the rest. And the LasFit back-of-seat protection is great too.
ORP, factory ARB 3/4 roof rack, chin spoiler removed, 34 psi in tires, 80% highway/20% city, mostly in ECO and occasionally in NORMAL - 21.1mpg average (dash numbers - not computed myself at the pump).
I have a Speck case on my phone and it charges through the case pretty well. I've never looked close enough to notice if it was charging quickly, but it will still increase the charge even while using the phone for maps as well as podcast streaming. I guess it depends upon which case you use.
That final version looks fantastic! I'd grab one right away but with Christmas around the corner I better watch my dollars. Might be a great January 1st gift to myself. The surface is perfect for dragging beach equipment in/out all season. Much more robust than the existing carpet!
Quick...
I have noticed very mild oscillations on mine too. Coincidentally, I rented a Grand Highlander in Milwaukee last weekend and it had all the bells/whistles. I played around in the menus a little and saw that you could set the sensitivity of the lane tracing between 3 levels (low/med/high). I...
Honestly I think the product is pretty sweet. Much better coverage of the frame gap which I think will limit the depositing of salty sand on top of the frame when we take it on the beach. I've just been frustrated over the lack of ability to contact them for the missing hardware. But Jason...
I recently purchased a full front/rear set of ARK splash guards. Upon opening the package I realized a large portion of the mounting hardware was missing. Since then I've sent them multiple messages via their "contact us" tab on the website, multiple voicemails, and even replies to the...
So far I've been driving exclusively in ECO. I tried Sport a few times and really liked the pep but didn't care for the artificial sound. Granted the turbo 4 cylinder has a lame sound without it but it just was weird sounding. Might do Normal in heavy holiday traffic when stuck on 476 with...
Agreed. I give it a solid single click once filling up but each time I go to fill up again it seems already loose and takes no force to start unscrewing. Agreed the I haven't seen a code pop or anything but it seems weird that it's loose already when I go to refuel.
I cut the outer foot or so off each side then trimmed the center section to only about 1" tall and reinstalled it. I didn't like the way the plastic trim below the bumper in the center seemed loose when not bolted to anything and everything seems tighter when the center is bolted back on.
Our...
Solid plan. I opted for a 100w hard panel recessed flush into my roof rack which powers either my Anker 40L cooler or my Anker Solix F2000. Likely the cooler a majority of the time...but occasionally the solar generator. No Starlink for me - I'm not that cool!
I wonder if you can put the parking brake into service mode from that screen? It would be helpful when it comes time to do rear brakes. Otherwise you'll need an OBDII scanner to retract the parking brake motors
That looks awesome! I was looking pretty closely at those last month but in the end I was nervous to mount it to the hood. Combination of unsure if the hood heat would affect it and basically nervous that I would screw up the install!!! I have to say it looks pretty good on yours - almost...
I might do that. We don't typically put a lot of miles on this vehicle (our beach/cabin rig) and it normally takes us two years to put 5K miles. Basically I have some time to source one before I need to put it into the rotation. Or the tires will dry rot before they are bald!
I started installing them on the 4runner this afternoon. During installation of the two rear sections it seemed like I was missing hardware. I know you start by pulling out the plastic OEM press-in clips over the threaded studs. Their video states you use their 10mm nuts to install over the...
