I had the Westcott pre-load collar lift kit added and it's helped quite a bit.

What else was installed besides the collar? I’ve never heard of a preload collar not making the front end stiffer
Just the full front and rear lift kit. Didn't make it luxury smooth by any means but the smaller bumps are less noticeable

It's a common complaint. Even going to 17's won't make it much more smoother. Suggest getting new shocks and struts. I plan on going with the Fox 2.0 later this year.
When I went to 285-70-17's and the Westcott kit made a noticeable difference

For anyone who posts “it’s a truck” to excuse the stock ride quality of the 6th Gen, since 1998 I’ve driven nothing but trucks (F-150) or BOF SUVs (2nd and 4th Gen 4Runner and 100 Series LC), and my 6th Gen SR5 is the harshest ride of any of them by far (including an F150 with load range E LT tires). I call it a “jitterbug.” Rides smooth as glass on the interstate, however. I’m considering Fox 2.0.

Came from a Bronco badlands. The 4 runner rides a bit better. I am running load range e falken wild peak 4’s. No complaints, i guess it is what you are used to.

Wow, this is like my only complaint on taking delivery over the weekend of a 26 ORP. Yes, I test drove one before buying, but didn't really notice it. Following to see what suggestions others are moving to. Knowing that if Toyota replaces them with the TRD 2.5" Lift Kit will keep the warranty is nice to know. Steep price though. That might be a year 2 mod.

@lakerunner the 2.5" TRD OEM lift kit adds a huge ride improvement. I was shocked the first time I drove one. It's just under $4000 parts and labor ($2999 + $990 labor). Knowing that it gives you full Toyota warranty and is a fully comprehensive kit with new axles and knuckles designed by Billstein to TRD/Toyota specs is worth a premium over the MT64s
Nice. I have the lift on my Tundra and it is great. Need to get this for the 4runner.

It is not a steep price for what is included. It is a bargain actually.

Great to know! The limited info online says that it might be stiffer than the ORP stock suspension so hoping for a softer ride with less chop
