Those are not the TRD pro wheels. Those are the TRD Upgrade wheels. They have a +45mm offset. These will not poke outside of the fender unless you're running wheel spacers.
The TRD Pro wheels are these. They have a +20mm offset which is much wider.
Anyone else install these on a different trim? Wanna see a few more pics on an ORP before I order. Not sure if the grey will look good on an all-black door.
Those wheels look to be poking out more than usual. Are you running wheel spacers? The pro wheels have a +20mm offset and poke a good bit, but those TRD Premium upgrade wheels that you are running have a much narrower offset (+45mm)
Just found this out too. The plate looks like AI in the footage. Can't get a single clear number and I was about 15 feet behind the car in broad daylight. Absolutely useless garbage.
Anyone know the part number for the heritage blue version with turn signals? (ORP) I tried reverse engineering the part numbers listed above with no luck.
I had the stock OEM ones and swapped them for the Trailhunter/pro ones. Just a little wider. No drilling, just removing screws and re-screwing them in.
If we’re talking strictly comfort and practicality for a family hauler, that would mean a minivan lol. Death before minivan is a personal mantra of mine. No Honda pilots either.
If we went LC It would stay “city oriented” as in no 3” lift and just some mild AT tires. Needs to be comfortable in...
I have the front lifted 1.5” and Toyo at3 33s load C at about 38 psi currently. Also have the trailhunter arb roof rack which isn’t helping. Lots of stop and go city driving.
Yeah, honestly those are the biggest deal breakers. 17 gal tank is hilarious on a truck that gets sub 20 mpg. My 5th gen 4runner at least has like a 21 gal tank so even tho its thirsty, I wasn't at the pump too often. 6th Gen is slightly better with 19, but I feel like I am at the gas station a...
I thought it might be placebo, but after a year of driving this truck and probably using sport mode 10 times, I finally looked it up. Apparently putting it into sport mode tightens the electronic power steering. Pretty cool feature I haven't seen discussed on here yet! I might use it more often...
Key word "seems". Way more headroom in the LC, generally feels more comfortable/spacious because of the lack of high center console/shifter/grab handle. The 6th gen 4runner feels cramped in the front and rear seats compared to my 5th gen that I've owned for 12 years. The LC feels like the...
lol yeah that’s better in the scenario where I trade the 6g for the LC. If I can have both, the off-road bits obv have less of a value add. LC would def be the ski trip car tho so would absolutely see some 4x4 scenarios either way.
LC will def have more road manners than the ORP though. The...
Showing my wife this comment lmao. The 6g is hers but I have a 5th gen. She said earlier “we can’t have a 4r AND a LC. I beg to differ. LC keep it stock and city oriented, keep my 6th gen on ATs with lift etc as my daily. I think the LC will be a perfect family hauler. She’s also 5’2” so lifting...
Today is the one year anniversary of delivery of my 2025 ORP. Overall I really like the vehicle but I have a few things that bug me and a few things I like more about the Land Cruiser. I know this topic has been debated online a million times, but this feels like a fun one to get the community's...
