I'm so jealous. They don't sell to us in OR or WA states. I have talked to Troy multiple times over the last 16 years. :) We have to shop around local in-state dealers to find the best price unless someone knows a site like that which works in the PNW.
Are you sure about this? I'm pretty sure the VSP warranties start from mile 0. That's the advantage since the first OEM year is full coverage, but years 2-3 it gets less and less. With a Platinum VSP, you get full protection anywhere from 1 mile or 35999 miles and within the first 3 years.
Wow! I actually like that one better than the arm-mount on the hand-bar posted in reply after yours. Thanks!! I see you have tested it, so if it's secure, I'm sold.
One of you guys had a bolt-on phone mount for the front "hand-bar" that sits between the driver and passenger seats. I can't see to find it now, but a link would be appreciated.
That's a great price. Is it best just to call around local dealerships to get the best price and/or are there deals/sales to be had right not? Maybe for Fathers Day or 4th of July?
It might be just me, but your attachments didn't go through correctly. Getting a page not found. Please let us know how the ride comfort is after getting it installed.
We have almost identical trims (and colors) and I really want to know what you think about the ride comfort/quality coming from stock. I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger because I haven't heard any really "night and day" differences. I think the stock ride is just way to bumpy and...
I'm curious what this means? Like you just jump on the gas and go, and don't let it thump between 1 and 2?
I too have this problem between 1-2 gear in my 26 ORP. About 800 miles.
Yup, like I mentioned, I read it - but we all know that not everything is documented as it should be and user experiences sometimes bring up interesting problems. :) I was also curious if anyone has used the "memory saver" device I mentioned. I was able to do the work I needed without...
I'm trying to see what the appeal is here. Other than adding a couple hatches to access the 2.5 inches of space underneath the floor, how does it increase useable space above the floor? It seems you're simply replacing one carpeted/plastic stock floor with another composite/metal floor. It's...
Well I did this today. Man, that took a couple hours to run that wire all the way from the front to the back, carefully pulling off trim along the way and I put it all back together with no missing fasteners. :) That was the part I was dreading the most. Mounted the fuse on the plastic trim...
I plan on disconnecting the battery to get to the wiring harness going through the firewall for some power wire fed to the back (see my other threads). I'm wondering if there's any problems with systems that need intialization afterwards? I know in my 4th gen, the windows and the sunroof had...
For anyone following along I found this video (from a Toyota Dealer) who is going through the firewall using the little "nipple" that you can see in my first photo at the top of the grommet. Vid should start at the time they are doing this. AND they are mounting the fuse on that plastic trim...
I'm still in the planning phase of this amp/sub project as mentioned in other threads, but I didn't want this one to get buried with very specific questions related to power feed:
Can I run the 4ga power wire through this rubber grommet in the firewall, or is there a better location? It...
I'm a fairly new owner, so I'll tell you what I got. MSRP for my 4R Off Road Premium in Heritage Blue was $61,658. Saved approximately $5200 off MSRP + PIO and no DIO + Taxes/fees, etc... OTD for $57,800. I just got up one morning and started calling dealers. I had a $2700 off MSRP from a...
Ooops, I posted in the bigger thread. For reference to the OP:

I also just realized in my current O7 4R , I have a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime paired with a Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 Punch P3. So moving to the ACM would be a step backwards in sound/power. But I'm still wanting to hear how your install goes and what you think of the sound.
