We are not currently offering an assembly option. OEM replacement tophats are currently priced at $220/ea from the dealer and there aren't any aftermarket options yet. This would require us to have a $500 assembly fee which is far too expensive, it would be cheaper to have a shop assemble for a customer locally.Do the front struts come fully assembled with springs and the top hat or are they just the shocks?
Thats good news! After Bilstein R&D used my ORP Hybrid for testing, they gave me a timeline of May/Early June for delivery to install the 6112/6100 + UCAs. Hopefully sooner than later now that part #s are showing up!![]()

Definitely keep us updated! I just got 6112/6100s and I’m hoping I won’t be disappointed.I am going to get bilstein 5100 in 2 days
Will share my experience and ride quality after installation
You can do either or, but you will have best ride quality to match front and rear.Just curious, can you run the 5100's up front (as a leveler) and keep the stock ORP shocks in the rear? Or best to do the 5100 rears as well?
Mr. Wolfe
Thank you for the reply. Would you know which is better between the following? Again, appreciate any help! You can do either or, but you will have best ride quality to match front and rear.
Preload spacers are not going to change the damping characteristics of a shock. If you want to modify ride quality, shocks will be more significant.Thank you for the reply. Would you know which is better between the following? Again, appreciate any help!
Stock ORP shocks with Westcott 2.5/.75 kit or 5100 front/rear? Overall ride quality being the measuring factor.
Mr. Wolfe
Agree and 100% understand that. I guess a better way to phrase the question is, do the 5100's offer an improvement in ride quality over simply adding the preload spacers to my factory suspension.Preload spacers are not going to change the damping characteristics of a shock. Preload spacers are an aesthetic modification.
The answer is yes. Preload spacers do not change / improve ride quality.Agree and 100% understand that. I guess a better way to phrase the question is, do the 5100's offer an improvement in ride quality over simply adding the preload spacers to my factory suspension.
