Mods:

Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 35x12.5/17
Black Rhino Congo 17x8.5 +35mm offset w/ custom center caps
Westcott Designs lift kit 2.5" front 1" back

No rub, very minimal trimming and removed the plates in the wheel wells.

I had custom 1/8" aluminum caps made to replace the crappy Black Rhino plastic caps, I'm pumped how they turned out.

I ordered new CBI bare aluminum full skid plates and will post once they land.

I haven't seen a front bumper on the market yet that I'm interested in. Hoping to get something fairly beefy when they come out.

33's installed.

Added TRD Pro cast aluminum running boards and found these 33" tires - Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tires (285/70R18) on Facebook that were taken off a 2025 Tacoma.

No rubbing on stock suspension and I’ve driven it about 300 miles except for today I was backing out of parking lot and it rubbed one little bit on the front right mud flap. C range tires so ride is still normal for me.

Also installed Lasfit liners and LED front blinkers, tinted windows and windshield and installed the Sonic amplifier so far.

Have a Readylift level kit being put on Friday so will post another pic then.

I’ve been working on getting all the parts for my TRD ORP build since the beginning of May when I got my 4Runner.

I went with the Peak 2.25 upper control arms UCA and lift.

Sitting on 285/75/17 Toyo Open Country RT Trail tires with Method NV wheels +25 offset.

ARK mud flaps was a must to keep the rocks away from the new paint.

I put the Westcott Design rock sliders and CBI Super Stock front bumper with Baja Design lights.

A couple other little things but that’s the big stuff.

Ordered the CBI full skid plates but was waiting over 2 months so I cancelled the order. Will probably get Kings later on.

I went with the ones they show fitting the Tacoma. No vibrations. The fitment and build quality was spot on.

Hey everyone! Below is the build, so far, for my Super Sonic Red TRD ORP hybrid.

-Westcott 2.5" lift

-RockTrix RT107 Six Split Spoke Mesh 17x9 wheels with a -12mm offset

-Originally had 295/70/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs but I just recently moved down to 285/70s. I had to trim about a 1/4" off of the front bumper, cut some of the fender liner on both the front and back end of the fender, as well as removal of the crash bar. I still had some slight rubbing on full lock and reverse wasn't great. Once I went down to the 285, all rubbing as since ceased. I have not tested extreme flex, but I don't do any significant off roading that makes me leery about it. Positive to the minor downsize was that I dropped about 100# off of the vehicle weight going from 10 ply down to a 3 ply tire. Ride is SIGNIFICALLY smoother and the MPGs increased back up again.

Hi All,

Have a TRD OR(P) and I just recently mounted a take off set of the bronze trailhunter wheels.

The tire I selected is the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent in 275/70R18 E Load.
Rides very well in the 20mi I've had them, feels very similar to the stock Falken 3WA with the black wheels.

The bronze looks great with the heritage blue, but I did notice some very slight rubbing against the inner edge of the OEM mudguards.

Is there a simple solution to fix this, while leaving the mudguards on? I'd like the rock protection as there is plenty of small stones in CO that hate car paint.

I think I've seen 5G and 4G owners use heat guns to mold the plastic back a bit, but not sure if it's the most elegant solution.

I can confirm the 2025 Tacoma TRD Off Road 17” wheels fit the 2025 4runner. Just put them on my TRD Sport today with 265/70/17 BF Goodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tires.
