Okay okay, perhaps I exaggerated a bit. ? A more realistic expectation for the life span of the turbos might be 100k-150k depending on how hard you are on it & if it is properly cared for. But they can last a long while when cared for properly IMO.150-200K? That means my 4Runner will only last me 20 years. I’m 67. 20 should be enough.
Although the owners manual states only regular 87 octane gasoline is required I'll personally only fill with Top Tier rated mid-grade 89 octane or premium grade 91 octane gasoline. It doesn't harm anything & may even help extend the life of the engine & it's turbos.
