What about Regular 88 at places like Sheetz where its ethanol is at 15%. Per the manual, this should be okay?... Higher Octane but also higher ethanol content... however significantly cheaper than Regular 87.
What do you think?
I guess it depends what you value. If it was fuel efficiency then you are in the wrong car. There is always a cost to everything. I guess you can always look at a awd hybrid minivan which should suit most of your needs. (BTW, I've hit as high as 30mpg multiple times on a 25mile stretch to work)...
a shimmy you feel around 45 mph but not at 70 mph is usually from a bent rim, out-of-round tire, or road-force variation, not a simple weight imbalance. Have a shop do a road-force balance and inspect the wheels/tires for run-out or shifted belts.
Sometimes you will feel peak vibration or...
Yup I get the same!
Tested out driving in Sports mode and a little more zip and quick acceleration and I average 21-22... not much difference for more fun!
I have SR5 and Ive been averaging 23-24mpg and standing at 5k miles. Best I've gotten was 29-30mpg on a straight highway stretch.
The backseats in the 6G have less leg room or space in case you want to put a child seat in the back. Seems more cramped.
Low end torque is peppy and fun ( I don't...
Can you expand upon that? In normal mode, I get about 23-24mpg on average. Few brisk accelerations and mostly conservative on highway.
I love how sport mode feels but annoyed that I have to switch into it every time I turn on the car. If I can get 22mpg then that would be great!
Maybe I'm confused... this is stock, no performance parts. Using higher octane improves performance while you claimed it reduces performance and that any gains is usually anecdotal. Just posting the video to show you actual dyno measurements on a stock vehicle with different octane (87 vs 91)
