TRD Aluminum Skid Plate installed on TRD off-road (photos & installation instructions)

Purchased online from a dealer that had no sales tax, a sales going on and free shipping from Toyota.

Total $414 shipped to my door.

Part number: PTR60-35240.

Very easy to do on the driveway: remove 8 bolts, reinstall with 6 bolts, done.

Nice Easter eggs on the front of the the skid plate (2 older 4R outlines).

Check with your local dealers. They can save you the shipping costs.

Just make sure you also order the hardware kit. It's just 6 bolts but they have to be ordered separately (you'll only have 4 bolts if you have the OEM plastic protector). It's PTR60-89252 for the Aluminum TRD Pro or PT228-89255 for the TrailHunter Steel.

Install procedure (attached below) states to discard the original undercover fasteners.

They are slightly different than those in the Front Skid Plate Hardware kit.

One thing thats odd. The prescribed set of six are shorter than the bolts for the felt plates. Despite the skid plate being thicker.
