Our Sport is about 6 months old. No problems yet except the brake squeak in the morning. We have the smell of cat pee inside the truck occasionally. It’s not all of the time but once in a while we get a whiff of it. We have no cats. My question is if anyone else has experienced this?
who changed the oil the last time? Could it be running over from the skid plate? Is the filter tight? Did they use a new crush washer? Those are my first questions
I drove about 160 miles to the dealer that I buy all of my 4Runners from. The trip to wasn’t bad. On the way back the thunderstorms were so heavy that we had to pull over. Averaged 40 miles per hour. This is the first time I noticed auto braking. Definitely worth the trip.

We have a station in our rural area that carries non ethanol 91 octane. I’ve been using it but it’s about a half a buck higher per gallon. It’s very popular here , they are selling it over ethanol fuel by almost 2-1.
These are so hard to negotiate down. If you tell the dealer that you don’t want the truck unless they lower the price they will probably laugh. There are plenty of buyers lined up for these new 4Runners.
