Hey, so I am always messing with my 3D printer to solve “problems”. For my Gas T4R ORP... I have a mount for my Ham radio and microphone, inserts for water bottles so they don’t rattle in the door…

Attached are Pics of handy passenger side trash can with doggie poop bag.

You paid a few bucks that would've saved me several hours 'perfecting' the design. 😂

Nice!

Do you have pictures of your ham radio install as well? I'm looking for ideas for how to mount mine, haven't come up with anything clever yet.

What kinda trash are you generating where you need a trash container inside your vehicle? You have trash; take it out at end of day? That way your interior is always clean instead of collecting trash until it's full.

So where do you put your trash during the day? Best use is on long road trips and multiple day off-road trips, I'd rather have it bagged than bouncing around the cabin.

Desert_6Gen, I bow to your end of day tidiness but I'm pretty sure a LOT of folks use trash cans/bags.

This would require a poll but I don't think many would care... :p 😂 😂

I have a small 25w VHF/UHF radio that fits in the slot that's behind the trash can pics. The "bracket" holds the radio more secure and higher so I can adjust things. I've made different clips for the mic. on vent and edge of sun roof.. still need some tinkering. I will see if I can take pics that show the bracket. Work in progress.

I was also thinking about putting a radio with a head unit in the shelf to the right of the nav screen. Or... I saw something similar to this that might be modifiable: https://www.ragofabrication.com/products/2025-toyota-4runner-device-dash-mount
I think there are others similar to this or perhaps a 3D print!?

might want to trim out the multiple posts of the same pics over and over again in your post.

repeating the same 3 pics 4 extra times is a bit excessive, just saying :ROFLMAO:

otherwise, nice mod for those that are looking for something like this.

personally i dont keep any trash in mine. usually my trash fits in my pocket (paper receipts at most)

another option is to use a headrest hanging trash container.

Pretty cool! Don't think it would be much use to me as I rarely create trash while driving. Not one for eating in the car and almost never get colds...so tissue waste is not common.

on long trips (from ND to GA), i usually just buy big gulps (or equivalent size) from the gas station filled with pop and either get a new one next gas stop or refill.

otherwise i get 1 liter bottles (and always put the cap back on after a drink) and fill a cooler of ice for the trip and as i empty them on a drive, just throw the empty capped bottle in the passenger floor board until next gas stop.

dont eat in vehicles, or if i snack on long trips, i get food that fits completely in the mouth in 1 shot. no biting to break it into smaller piece's ("Combo's" is the size i am talking about)

Wow... impressive forethought, discipline and planning… and may you always have an empty passenger floorboard! 🤩 Happy trails Sir.
