ah this is the snatch strap, as opposed to a kinetic rope. Appreciate the link! i was also looking into snatch straps as well and looking to getting one as well!

Even though ARB makes a quality product, I recommend a kinetic rope instead of a snatch strap. Mostly because a strap puts a lot of stress on both vehicles. IMO

I couldnt find the installation PDF for the rear hook, but the front hook requires 64ftpound of torque. So the rear should be the same.

Bit of blue loctite, a couple ugga dugga's, good to go.

Yes. Mine was also backordered. I got lucky enough here in Cali, there were a few left to ship one to me. Received and installed!

I'd rather use one of these, I can keep it in my ditch bag and pull it out if needed or if I need to help someone. soft shackle only. And this is just an example photo there are many Brands out there that make a soft shackle hitch recovery point.
