If anyone is looking for some great organizers for your back compartment between the hybrid battery and the tailgate, I had the Overland Gear Guy make these bags for me. They have a clear zippered top, velcro labels, and a handle, and three bags fit perfectly in the space. They’re not cheap, but they’re made in America and have a lifetime warranty.

looks nice, just wish they had a hard sided version.

the soft bags are really nice but if i put the hitch parts in a soft bag it will slide and push and jumble up the other empty bags, i dont have a collection of stuff i keep in the vehicle vs you or others.

works well in your situation since you have all 3 bags completely full to brim so no chance of them sliding back and forth

i tried the hitch assembly in the back wrapped in an old towel but eventually it started to slide around so i took it out.

Get a chunk of this, cut it to fit a bag and then cut out your hitch to fit. if you don't want to use a bag make a clam shell out of it and veloce to attach it in compartment.

There's more space out to the right of the bin/battery. I found that when I put my hitch over there, it's snug enough that it doesn't slide around.

Price aside, the pictures they are showing all appear to be the non-hybrid models as I have much less space in my little fold up compartment at the rear. I keep my air compressor accessory bag in there and it fits perfectly, but is much smaller than these look.

That is definitely the hybrid.

I carry a Milwaukee battery impact gun, air compressor, soft sockets, lug sockets, First Aid Kit, tow strap, snatch rope, soft shackles, tool role, hammer, Noco Jump box, collapsable shovel, 3 HF LED work lights, measuring tape, tape, tire plugs, radiator hose tape, air gauge, rain shell, gloves ...... You get the idea. I store a lot of these items in the compartments in front and behind the battery in the rear. I also have 2 Milwaukee Poly Crates that I secure in the rear compartment behind the rear seats. Recently I had to pull a truck and trailer out of a swamp. I removed my snatch strap and shackles to perform the task. Afterwards I was attempting to put my gear away and it wasn't going back like it came out because I had spaced things around to fit. I can see these containers being nice to segregate items instead of having to dig through everything to remove what you're looking for. I have 3 vehicles with these exact items. These bags are pricey but could be very useful and easier to use, keep my vehicles cleaner and make it easier to grab a few items should I take another vehicle. Anyone have a discount code for these folks?
