you can get a mirror wire taps for most radar detectors. If you can put a piece of the clear 3m on the area where the cord will rub. you could probabley get a small scrap piece from your local shop that does 3m paint protection.

Try Bambu labs TPU for AMS. It's a firmer tpu that might work for you. I used to put ninja flex top fed threw my ender 3 but it was high modded and went threw a bondtech LGX. Ill try and print some TPU ones with my X1C and see how they turn out.

☝THIS!! A good shop will sand blast the old Finnish off and touch up any imperfections before powder coating them and 9 times out of 10 they will end up better than the factory finish.
