Surprising to hear they would use two different brands of spark plugs in the engine from the factory. I'm wondering if it there was an inventory or supply chain issue at the time. But I guess if both brands are OEM and produced to Toyota specs, it should have been fine.

When it's time to replace them, I'll probably stick with either Denso or NGK iridium spark plugs.

With past cars, I typically did the spark plug replacements at about 90k-100k miles and visually checked my ignition coils to determine whether to replace those. But unsure if I should follow a different interval with a turbo engine.

What is the mileage interval everyone is planning to do their spark plugs replacement? There doesn't seem like a lot of discussion on this subject yet since most 6th Gen rigs are probably still new or fairly new. I like what looks to be much easier access to the ignition coils and spark plugs...

I think it depends on the dealership you order it from and if they're willing to take on the liability to ship it. Sounds like there is special packaging requirements and if the contents leak or spill during shipment, the dealership is responsible. Talking with the guy at the parts department...
