Found this chart when doing my search. This is from Tacoma webside. So unless you have extended travel shocks, you will be using Standard bumb stops.

toyota went the cheap route to save some money since 70-80% of the buyers will never not be a pavement princess.

personally i will never see un-paved roads or un-maintained dirt roads to go fishing.

since toyota got rid of the bump stops and went with a shock top tower incorporated bump stop (and trust me, it doesnt take too much mild/heavy off roading to blow out the shock tower --- see tacoma's that this has happened to already lookup "tacoma front shock top hat failure" ---)

the bump stops prevents you blowing out your shocks or deforming critical components attached to your wheel housing

the tacoma and 4R/LC250 use different top hats. the 4R/LC250 are steel.

that failure wasn't caused by a tophat. the tophat is steel with a big steel insert for the shock shaft. the top nut on the shock shaft appears to have backed itself off or sheared off.
