    well considering i own a tacoma and have swapped the suspension, they're aluminum. they are not the same as the 4R. just like how the front strut and LCA is different from a 4g tacoma compared to the 6g 4R and LC

    that failure wasn't caused by a tophat. the tophat is steel with a big steel insert for the shock shaft. the top nut on the shock shaft appears to have backed itself off or sheared off.

    the tacoma and 4R/LC250 use different top hats. the 4R/LC250 are steel.

    Take 30 seconds and read the post, you will all the part numbers. But no, these will not work with every trim. The fox shocks on the TRD pro interfere with the mounts.
