Hi all! First time 4Runner owner, here. I bought this November 21 and love it. I got it back today after having Stek DynoMatte PPF applied. Lower bumper sections, flares and mirrors are gloss PPF. Ceramic tint all the way around.

Putting on Rally Armor flaps some time this week. Thinking about the NYTOP rock sliders next.

[NYTOP]

Wanted to share a recent 6th-gen 4Runner build that we just wrapped up, featuring the full NYTOP product lineup paired with a complete Dobinsons suspension system. The goal for this build was a cohesive, OEM-plus setup that maintains daily drivability while being fully capable for off-road use.

NYTOP Components (6th Gen 4Runner)

This vehicle is running essentially the entire NYTOP catalog for the platform:

• Front bumper with integrated recovery points
• SAE-rated rear recovery point
• Rock sliders designed for real load-bearing use
• Complete underbody & suspension skid plate system
• Fender flares, color-matched to the overall theme
• Titanium axle-back exhaust, reducing weight while improving tone
• NEW NYTOP ADV-Classic Forged Beadlock Wheels

Wheel Specs:

• 17x8.5 +25mm
• When mounted with the beadlock ring, the effective spec is equivalent to 17x9.5 +11.5mm

Most of the NYTOP armor and accessories on this build were custom powder-coated to match the black-on-silver theme throughout the vehicle, keeping everything visually cohesive rather than looking like a mix of unrelated aftermarket parts.

As with all NYTOP products, everything here is designed to be non-invasive and fully reversible, preserving factory mounting points and allowing the vehicle to be returned to stock if needed.

Suspension – Dobinsons USA

Suspension duties are handled by a full Dobinsons system, including:

• Dobinsons front and rear suspension components
• Billet upper control arms
• Billet rear links

The Dobinsons setup complements the added armor and wheel/tire package extremely well—excellent ride quality on-road with controlled articulation and stability off-road. The billet control arms and rear links also add strength, adjustability, and long-term durability compared to factory components.

This build really highlights the advantage of approaching a vehicle as a complete system rather than adding parts individually. Every NYTOP component is engineered to work together, from clearances and mounting strategy to aesthetics, and the Dobinsons suspension ties it all together with proper geometry and ride control.

It was hard to sell my 3rd gen but knowing pieces of it will live on this (and pay for it lol) makes me feel good.

Looking good man, what tint levels did you go with? I'm about to do mine with xpel xr plus ceramic and debating on 15 or 20%

Decided to swap out the bronze trailhunter rims for the TRD off-road ones. Got a great deal I couldn’t pass up.
Wheels are Toyo Open Country A/T 35x12.5 squeezed into the 8in wide rims . Drawback is I’m rubbing on the control arm on full wheel turn so if anyone has spacer recommendations, I’m all ears.

What tint levels did you go with? Ceramic? Really like the bronze on the front door…

If you're going ceramic and have a black runner, I'd recommend going at least 15 up front, and 30 rears for a more balanced, even look. 20s is a bit too light imo

Thanks. Going with Xpel Plus ceramic…Leaning towards 20% rears and 15% front doors.

Windshield 45% and moon 35% are good to go.
