Battery went dead - now check engine light on

I accidentally left my Starlink on last night and it took my battery all the way down to the point that I had to jumpstart the vehicle. Now I've got a check engine, system malfunction, and drive start control malfunction that are not going away after I've got the battery charged. Is this going to take a visit to the dealer, or is there someway for me to reset all of this? Thanks in advance. I travel in this car on Friday.

I ended up killing the battery while at the beach a while back. Interesting way to jump a hybrid to say the least. So i was approx 100 miles from home, drove it back with 3-4 warning lights on. I searched and searched when i got home and they will go away on their own.
If not take it to dealership but they should reset or go away.
I think i drove it more that night and then parked it for the night got in the next afternoon and no warning lights on.

I am headed to Sam's Club right now to buy this Duracell AGM battery. I know why it died last night but I don't think that OEM battery is very powerful. I just went by the dealer and he said they would charge me $175 to clear the codes since the battery went dead on my watch. So much for being honest with these people. He did say that if I pull the OEM battery right now and replace it, by having the cables unhooked, it should clear the codes.

Just pull the negative terminal for 10 seconds to clear the codes. Other car manufacturers do this as well.

tbh they clear themselves. Like they are designed to do

New battery installed. Had the leads off for at least 30 minutes. Codes did not reset. Had to use my Bluetooth OBD2 tool and Carista to clear the codes.

I'm glad this lead to me replacing the battery! I'll be happier with an AGM.

Did you ever get the OEM battery tested before replacing?

also, using a cheap Duracell AGM, will the charging management in the 4R charge it appropriately?

If vehicle is still under warranty, how will Toyota react to an non-OEM battery?

seems you made a lot of assumptions unless I am missing something.

I have one of these Duracell's in my diesel Wrangler; have also used them in my old camper (pre-lithium). And while they are no odyssey, they are way better than the OEM lead acid battery.

My battery wasn't dead; I just wanted an AGM, so I don't need to have the OEM tested. The 4Runner will have no issue charging it and managing it. Changing battery composition (other than to Lithium) should have no effect on the charging system.

Yes, still fully under warranty. I don't foresee any warranty issues by upgrading the lead acid battery to AGM. Why would you think there may be an issue?

the only issue might be the start/stop system. if you have a non hybrid, they have a specific battery for those start/stop system that is different than the regular batteries.

Conventional wisdom has been that AGM batteries need a higher charging voltage to fully charge. Is that not the case for the Duracell?
