Yeah NEVERMIND THE SEARCH tool at the bar up top...... We are all grown adults, put your bigboy pants and type in what you want to search for. It will show you all the threads mentioning "sound deadening".... its like magic
Thats a lot of trouble to get to the wires and then steal the car. So they will have to remove a tailight then splice into said wiring then put the taillight back and drive off with it. Yeah ok im gonna take my chances with mine
This has been a issue since the start of using just a fob to start the car.
If you are that concerned with your Toyota being stolen by this method put your keys in a faraday bag or box when you get home a quick google will show you plenty to choose from.
The dealer dropped off my 4runner in july. First thing i did was look at horrific air dam, and grab a 10mm socket. I didn't even need the wrench all 10 bolts/screws were loose, so i just hand spun them off. Im pretty good friends with our salesman and asked about the screws and air dam. His...
This "part" is a literal afterthought to Toyota....these pieces of junk are installed at the port, hence the crappy install.
Sorry, i personally handed mine to the garbage man the next day to recycle... he tossed in with the rest of garbage...lol
To be honest totally honest.....The the Land Cruiser had more noticable body roll and sluggish compared to 4runnner TRD OP w/ hybrid. The GX is a super plush land cruiser but with a better engine but not enough to justify paying that much more for it....I'm coming from a GMC YUKON DENALI 6.2l...
How bad was the turbo whine? Every once and a while i can hear a little turbo whine on mine... Brings back memories of my 5.9 Cummins... i dont mind the whine.
i was being sarcastic dude lol. You really are making it much more of a big deal than it really its. NO one is breaking into your car for that speaker bro.
Lmao dude....Im old enough to remember guys walking around with entire head units they were able to slide out and faceplates that would pop off for "THEFT DETERRANCE". Just take the speaker with you when you get out of the car...lol
I have the opposite experience when driving the LC and 4runner. I drove a OF platinum 1st, throttle was responsive and had a lot of zip. Steering was tight and little roll when cornering at speed compared to my daughters Gen5 4runner on my spin around the feeder and freeway. Got in the premium...
1500miles on my OR premium- most miles are highway 3-4 bolts were hand tight others were tight some had blue thread lock others didn't.
The difference at highway speeds 60-80 with/without air dam are negligible much like the "mileage gain or loss" with or without the air dam. There is a reason...
The orange goo isnt the regular foaming stuff you wash the car with is it? Last time I used dyi car wash the orange stuff was wheel cleaner years ago....but tire cleaner kinda explains the difference in the window ive see guys use wheel cleaner in a pinch to clean windows.
no clue actually, on my daughters '19 sr5 just has blue lines that dont move, i have yet to sit in it and deep dive into all the functions on cameras and on most of the 4runner, its a week old so ill get there
