I agree. Anything with AI BS lasts about 5 seconds for me. I don’t care what the topic is. I see so much incorrect or misinformation being pushed through YT, it’s crazy. If any content has AI or even looks like it has, its not being watched here.

Toyota OEM for oil and filters. Many threads have debated this. Its probably more important “when” you change your oil and filter. No more than every 5k. I do 4k

You might consider getting a friend or you to “Rip” all your CD tunes to MP3. Then, I assume you can play them directly from a memory stick. Disclaimer, I have not done this in a Toyota but have in many older vehicles.

Off topic but why would you trade an LC for a 4R? Value losses, sales tax, etc.

My SR5 is fine. I really don’t see the value in upgrading anything for a “road oriented” car. So many folk are waisting money of after market crap. If you need more “anything” buy a different trim level or vehicle.

I personally think it's a risk taking a new car off the lot and trusting it for a long drive. Generally, things got wrong very early or when the vehicle is old (not including poor maintenance). I'd rent a vehicle and then test/break-in your new 4R close to home. I'd say after 1000 miles...

Watching..... You should at least be able to change the default startup screen!. Cheap shot from Toyota (again). If its possible, I'd be surprised but welcome it. Sure - I know if you use Apple Maps or the google flavor, the screen will default to it. However, 90% of my driving, I don't need...

I use the auto parking brake. I know there is a button but why would you use that? If I stop, hear the PB activate, what would pressing or pulling the switch do? i guess if normal brakes fail, you can use to button carefully to slow the car??? very confusing statement in the manual shown...

Are your sure the TSB included new rotors? I get the squealing in reverse 3 times a week but other times not when reversing. Its getting more frequent and louder. I park in a climate controlled garage, sometimes for a few days without driving. Does the dealer have to replicate the problem...

Same as the paint. Soft, not durable. I really don’t know how Toyota got a “Quality” label.

I never buy off-brand, non-USA tires. If they were half the cost of a proven name brand, I'd still not even consider. Reasons - Safey, Performance and reliability.

As I understand it it, Apple CarPlay used both BT and a WiFi connection to the car. I believe it initially initiates a BT connection but then WiFi. I wanted to connect my phone to a dedicated hotspot and use CarPlay wirelessly. It was not possible because CarPlay takes the WiFi connection on...

Not wanted here. Save $$$$, don’t have to deal with leaking, another point of failure outside the warranty. Also, having had them previously, we just don’t use it.
