Below is my report from oil analyzers. I expected the gas in the oil to be high due to direct injection, but most of the last 300 miles before testing were freeway miles. The aluminum is not too high, but the Silicon is quite high. Not sure why the silicon is high - maybe gasket sealant? Unfortunately I did not get analysis done on the oil from the first 700 miles.
In the notes they tell me to let them know that it's direct injection. I assume this so they won't call the amount of gas high. I see now way to do this on their equipment list.
Couple of complaints:
- I didn't get any email update about my sample getting received or tested by them
- Their online tools to set up equipment and submit samples is terrible. I do software for a living. This is right out of the early 2000s from a UI perspective
