The front seats in the Tacoma would be deal breaker for me if I were cross shopping them. Also for the time being, a Japanese assembled 4Runner is a huge bonus. Also in theory here in Canada the 4Runner would have no additional tariffs unlike a Tacoma.
This seems odd for the Toyota dealers I was dealing with when looking for a 2025 RAV4 PHEV. They both knew what was coming and approximately when it was to arrive. Mine did arrive but I did not take delivery of it because Ottawa cancelled the rebate.

I know this is not supposed to be political, but are you suggesting that Canada has not been a great ally post War of 1812? I hope that since Canada has no current trade disputes with Japan, we import the Japanese-built versions here extra tarrif free.
