I can't say enough about the quality and ease of installation of the @westcottdesigns Lo Pro Roof Rack

Everything lined up easily and perfectly! Ever screw could be started with your fingers with no struggle at all.

Once assembled, simply find a few friends to help lift it (especially if you have a lifted 4Runner). I PPF'd my entire roof to ease with cleaning maintenance

Once in place, it's only a few bolts and it's done!

Fit and finish are superior! Highly Recomended!

Glad it all worked out for you.

My ORP came with all black rails and crossbars. If these options were not there, I would have already purchased a rack.

But again , worried about the installation and clearance issues that some have had including rack scratching the roof paint.

Also, so many options. When I'm ready, leaning towards the Sherpa "The Capitol" Full Length Rack.

The Capitol Rack looks really nice and I considered it strongly but it was a lot more money and higher profile.
Regarding the scratching, I think that may be a possibility for any rack especially during the mounting process.
Lastly I sold my OEM crossbars and trying to sell the rails to recoup some of the expense.
Good luck to you

Do you have any recommendations on what hardware to use to mount stuff to that Westcott rack? not sure what is best to use.

Most everything you buy for it will come with T-Slot bolts which is best. You can also use anything that wraps around the crossbars

Did you notice a change in wind noise having gone from the cross bars to the roof rack?

I have an underground as well and I just wanna say I never get tired of looking at great pictures of undergrounds. Yours looks great.
Thank you. My wife picked out the color (I usually choose white) and have been very happy

I actually had wind noise from the factory cross bars so I removed them very early on. I do hear some wind noise but nothing dramatic. I noticed it the first highway ride but now am use to it. Its pretty low level and I would say less annoying then the cross bars

I have the same roof rack and one of the main complaints I have is that you have to remove the crossbar every time you want mount something which has caused me to strip a couple of the bolts that were included due to having to remove them so often. Do you happen to know what size the bolt is that holds the side rail to the bracket that holds the roof rack onto the roof? I know the crossbar bolt is a M8.

The amount of wind noise from switching from factory is substantial.
