I think this might be an interesting thread topic.

Have you seen 'out in the wild' the exact trim level and color of 6th gen 4Runner that you have? I have an Underground TRD Pro. I live in a pretty highly populated area and I have yet to see another Underground TRD Pro on the streets. In fact, the only TRD Pro of any color that I have seen in the wild was a Mudbath TRD Pro, but that was at the place I was getting my ceramic coat put on, so I don't know if that really counts as seeing one 'in the wild'. Seeing one at a dealership does not count.

Have you seen your 'twin' in the wild? How often?

I've had my Everest ORP Hybrid for about 2 months now and I have yet to see a matching trim and color. I've only seen one other Everest but it was an SR5.

Living in Los Angeles, I am surprised I haven't seen my twin yet.

I've seen several Heritage Blue Sports and Limiteds around northern VA and central PA but no matching ORP hybrid. I know there should be but have not seen.
Tailgating in State College PA last weekend I had several folks ask me about the car. One who asked what the color is called, and another who asked for a look inside which I gladly agreed to. shortly after that my daughter suggested a look up the hill and there - about 100 yards away - was a heritage blue 6Gen. I immediately tagged it as a Sport or Limited due to color match fenders - then realized no badging on the C-pillar so must be a Limited. I'm not sure I should say that my adult children were impressed ... but they did smile at their crazy old man.

I have a black TRD Off Road Premium and I would have thought I'd see another one by now since black is a popular color.

I've yet to see a Pro in the wild. I had someone run up behind me on 64 several evenings ago, then they started to pass which lasted about 3 miles, then they slowed causing me to pass and when I got along side they had their window down and hand out the window thumbs up.

It's a little thing, but it's a good feeling. Isn't it. Congrats on your sweet ride.

I’ve seen more in heritage blue than any other color of the 6Gs but none that I would call my twin.

Mudbath pro here, and nope, haven’t seen another one yet. I had my 1K oil change today at a non-dealer factory authorized shop, and it was the first one they’d seen, so I think it really is a bit of a unicorn.

Heritage Blue ORP. I’ve seen an SR5 recently in my area but that took 5 months. I’ve seen maybe 10 of different colors and trims since I took delivery on 2/14 mostly SR5

Only one other TH in white and another Everest (like mine) in a goose truck brand new yesterday 🤯.
I live in a busy populated area.

I'm not trying to be rude or say you're wrong but the SR5 doesn't come from the factory in Everest. Only the OR, ORP, and TH are available from factory in Everest.

There’s only a few 6th gens in my city, and the other Heritage Blue one I’ve seen is a TRD OR. There’s also a white TRD OR and one Red that I didn’t see the model. That said, there are a ton of 5th gens and Tacomas, so people are probably just happy with what they’ve got.
