Ordered factory front hooks on the 20% off deal. They came with the coating pretty much chipped off on both hooks. I know it doesnt effect functionality but there's something about buying new parts and they dont come outta the box looking new

I considered this, my end goal would be to swap this with a lower port so my wife can charge her phone on the shelf without taking over the screen

i just plug my phone in the USB on the screen . Terrible location for that USB port btw

Update!!!! Reached out to M&R and Baja Designs. M&R has proprietary lights and brackets so thats a no go. But im currently placing my order with baja designs for just the brackets. With shipping, I was quoted $218.

Is any company selling just the brackets? The combo packages are at the top of my price range and just looking for other options before pulling the trigger Posted an update: Baja Designs sells just the brackets

Latest update was a downgrade for me. App worked perfectly before, now (when its cold ) the app all of a sudden cant connect to my 4R and wont start. It does the animation like its going to start and then wont. Might switch to the lexus app to see if that works better

Carplay runs off wifi not bluetooth. When it starts wifi, go to your wifi tab and you'll see its connected to the 4runner

Had WT in my last vehicle, switched to Lasfit and slightly underwhelmed but it'll get the job done. Feel like the WT had higher sidewalls but for the price im happy
