Very nice! We were looking at the Rough Country flares and were weary on what the black gloss would look like. They look good and like you said, will look better with wider tires but I too don't like to waste good tires so that would be a wait for me as well. Thanks for the video!!
My last SUV was a 2011 Nissan Armada with 146k miles and only had premium. I'm paying less for gas now because of the smaller gas tank and better milage with the 4Runner. So continuing to put premium in the tank is a no brainer to me.
Hubby did all the mods for me. He put the bolts back in after removing the air dam. He also noted when he did the skid plate, he had to use something to hold up the back of the plate while he bolted in the front. As previously stated, it was a little heavy for him. He said having something hold...
They are Toyota brand. I got them here:
https://parts.elmhursttoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-genuine-toyota-2024-tacoma-and-2025-4runner-red-front-tow-hooks-pt97435250
If you search for the part #, you should come up with more than one place to purchase them.
My husband surprised me with the TRD skid plate!!!! It looks so good. Eventually some time next year we'll get it lifted a few inches so you can see it easily. I think he's liking the mods as much as I am even though it's my 4Runner. ;)
92 miles each way. Because of awful Seattle traffic, it took 3 hours to get home but I was okay with that. Meant I could "bond" with my new 4Runner while sitting in traffic. :D
Finally got my new front red recovery points after a few shipping issues. Hubby installed them today! I love them!!! Next will be a new TRD logo skid plate and a rear red recovery point.
Took mine off (and put the screws back in) pretty much as soon as we got home with the vehicle. Personally, I like the look with it off. We are planning on putting a TRD skid plate on hopefully soon.
Never did introduce myself. My name is Jennifer and I live in a small town in Western WA. Last month I got a 2025 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium. I LOVE it! It was time to replace my 2011 Nissan Armada and we did a lot of research, test driving and more research. We had a 2004 4Runner years ago so...
I had a 2011 Nissan Armada for almost 12 years. I loved it and really wanted to keep it forever, but we were fixing the AC almost every year for the last 4 years and it was really showing it's age. We had a 2004 4Runner in 2005 until 2009 and loved it. I loved the size of the Armada, but felt it...
I had a 2011 Nissan Armada for almost 12 years. I wanted to replace it because I wanted to downsize a little. We looked at A LOT of makes/models and I decided on a 4Runner, we had a 2004 4Runner years ago and loved it. I looked at the 2024 and it didn't have all the features I wanted...
We did everything online with the sales person, including the $2k deposit. We didn't sign anything or agree to anything except that the deposit was non refundable except for issues with the shipment/delivery. If we backed out, we lost the deposit. We weren't expected to use their financing. And...
I think it was about 2 weeks after we put our deposit down that we were able to bring our TRD Offroad Premium home. Judging by the other comments, I think we got lucky. We were looking daily at dealers near us, one happen to have the exact one I wanted already shipped and 2 weeks away. I put the...
